Just wanted to leave a simple thank you really. I'm a huge beer lover, and I, like any other beer drinker has to make a pilgrimage to Bamberg. Locals like pretty much every German I've ever met have been genuinely nice people & even with my horrendous Stoke accent which is barely English & I either talk too quickly or too quietly or both or I try a German phrase & get that, 'bless you, but don't bother' 😂, we got there 😂. For me, the best 3 spots personally, for beer only, or atmosphere or both. In order, Spezial, Wirthaus Graser & Schlenkerla. Loved others like Mahrs, Keesman, Zum Sternla, Fässla... Rotenschild was a cool bar & even managed to finally get my Mönchsambacher beers hunt done with, if I was 10 years younger, I'd definitely be a regular...and finally had a good Kebab in Germany on the 6th time of trying (and I went to supposedly the best in those Towns & City's), Dönerbey pulled one out of the bag!
