Myth of portaling from fountain

I just saw another post here that reminded me of this, so i thought i would make a post.

Using portal from fountain to get back to lane is not faster. Yes, no?

I tested it in practice tool multiple times a little while ago and it was at best the same exact time as walking, and if you took any time to try to aim it, or didn’t get the max range it was slightly slower.

Am I wrong?

I see lathyrus still doing it. Maybe it was faster before the homeguard changes idk.

This has been bothering me, because i know it’s not faster, not the way i do it atleast, but i see all other bards do it always. Is it just fun? Idk.

Let me know if im wrong.

Saw the bard damage nerf and decided the obvious decision was just to add more damage. Hardstuck silver for 5 years and hit plat recently running AP bard.

For those wondering, peep my old bard post but replace deadmans with Rocketbelt. Rocketbelt gives just as good mobility while having a significantly better build path for early game. If your going into a full AD comp I would go Deadman's but if you are not I wouldn't.

Are there any actually exciting Bard custom skins?

Hey guys, I noticed there are barely any good custom skins for Bard. I only found one that’s actually usable, which is kinda sad.
Does anyone know if there are more out there, or could someone maybe create a goofy or badass Bard skin concept? Would be awesome!

T1 elite chroma

To this day this still annoys me.

Why is the trophy-chime not changed to fit the colour of the chroma? Both the w and the trophy he carries are colour-coordinated, and I swear that the passive chimes on all other chromas for other skins are changed (at least newer ones?). This chroma was more expensive than standard chromas too.

I know it's a small thing, bard why... 😓

Can bard be played as a laner?

I found out I love hard play-style so much! Having a little bit of everything in his kit. A heal, utility, and damage! Beyond that, I really enjoy being able to build multiple things (which hard can do) and going multiple places, and the latter is what I’m struggling to understand. I really hope it works and it’s possible cause it feels like he’s a hybrid of every champion type. He can build tank, dmg, enchanter, catcher. So if someone could help me understand I’d really appreciate it!

How to play the early game?

Hey all, after vod reviewing my own gameplay I've come to the conclusion that the early game is generally the phase of the game in which I struggle most and/or make the most mistakes in. Which sucks, because it tends to be the stage in which leads are made and the game is impact most. If you throw me into the mid/late game with an even or good early game I tend to do pretty well, but there's something about the early game that I just cant get right, and I don't know what it is. I'm not sure if I overestimate/underestimate my champion, if I should just play safer, if i roam too much, if i dont roam enough, if i should ward better; I couldn't tell you.

I'm wondering if anyone's had the same problem and/or would like to share general tips/rules of thumb to play bard in the early game, I'd appreciate it ^^

I finally did it!!! One tricking Bard, none the less. Time to maybe go for Grandmaster or Challenger.
