I love Barony, but I must be missing something
I play through the entire game coop with my friend quite regularly on every class, and occasionally we place in the top 100 daily score list, and we are always the fastest by a long shot (easily <3 hours normally), even though we kill every monster and clear every floor.
We never seem to be able to level our skills like most others on the leaderboard when we look through them, and they are often taking 10+ hours!!! that's just impossible even playing at a snails pace for us!
I must be missing something fundamental about the game, because I don't understand how that is possible. Are they spending hours grinding skills in the corner of an empty map?
Also, side note:
I find the game has a huge variety of spells but by the time you get them in floor 25+, most are so niche or specific they are just never going to be used.
Why is the new DLC adding more spells? Variety was never the problem. More floors and variety of challenges is really the issue - I have never used 90% of the existing spells except to test them.
