Biggest hit of my life!
Long story short there’s been some water damage spots showing in our ceiling and on Sunday I heard water drops while watching baseball. They come to “fix” the problem by simply spraying over the existing spots and didn’t open anything, look for mold, nothing! Girlfriend and I decided to move apartments (they waived the fee) so we’re in the middle of packing everything and I bought into a break as a welcoming distraction Wednesday for Bowman release day and I grab the Pirates. First hit that came out of the two hobby’s was an Edward Florentino /150 so already I had felt like I won. The guy breaking opens some packs to find a red /5 and saves it for last. Sure enough he uncovers a Konnor Griffin red lava 5/5 on card auto! I still can’t believe it a day later, it’s undoubtedly the biggest hit of my life and it couldn’t have come at a better time with the stress of moving. It’s been put on eBay for 15k obo (realistically I won’t break 5 digits) but after confiding in other people with more experience selling on eBay, they convinced me to list it at that. (I don’t even have an eBay the guy I break with has it listed and yes I do have full faith in him to do the absolute right thing, has always been nothing but a stand up guy since day 1 shout out Eutawstreetbreaks)
