Grabbed his auto at Bisons Autograph Day, right before his call up. Luckily grabbed his 1st bowman before the Canada Day explosion! Been fun watching him in the show.

Happy Canada Day everyone! Even managed to find a numbered Blue Jay for today! Also a Yelich /25, Brent Rooker Rounding the Bases /50 and PJ Poulin /50. Will trade for Blue Jays if anyone wants something out of here.

Picked back up collecting a few years ago. Only collect Griffey. Mostly been buying via Facebook groups and trading with grown-ass dorks like me over the internet.

Because my wife doesn’t care, I’m showing off to you.

Just sorted a bunch of new oddballs. Counted, and have 1,242 unique cards as of today!

A few thoughts:

-oddballs are great. Food giveaway cards, Valentine’s Day, stickers, etc.

-Early 90’s score inserts rock

-Anything in a Red’s jersey sucks. White Sox jersey cards deserve to be burned.

-Single parallel sets like electric diamond and Topps Gold were the good old days. We didn’t know how good we had it.

-Binders are cool.

-Cards are meant to be enjoyed.

-I have literally no idea how to sort these.

Celebrated by picking up three more of the 1977 Blue Jays for my team set.

Hey everyone! Thanks again for all the advice. About a week ago, I made a post asking what I should buy, and based on your recommendations, I ordered 3 hanger boxes.

I pulled this card from the very first hanger I opened, so I think I’m going to stick with hangers from now on!
The only downside is that the card came with a bit of damage on the bottom edge mainly around the center and the bottom right corner. Is this something that Topps can do anything about through a replacement or is it just one of those things you have to live with?

I’d like some advice.

I know these probably aren’t the best boxes to buy, but I’ve already picked up two Super Boxes and one smaller box (the one on the left with 6 booster packs). I originally went with the Super Box because it has roughly twice as many cards inside.

Going forward, should I keep buying the Super Boxes or switch to the smaller ones?

The smaller box costs me $50 CAD after tax while the Super Box is $68 CAD after tax.

I’m mainly looking for advice on which one gives better value or has better odds of pulling something good. I know it’s all luck, but I’m curious about other people’s experiences.

From my first Super Box, I pulled a numbered Judge card. The second one didn’t really have any notable hits.

Or should I focus buying online only ?
