I just wanted to make a simple post on here to appreciate this niche (lol) community we have here. I’m from the East Coast of the US, and there’s not much love for bassline out here but I gotta tell yall it doesn’t do anything to my love for the scene other than make me wanna spread the sound and put people on! Keep pushing, and by all means please post anything bassline related here. Love to all of you from the US!

Apparently it was someone going by the name DnD but the internet doesn't seem to have any record of who was behind it.

I'd just like to put a name to this banger of a tune.

If you don’t know, cru2 are a major part in the new bassline scene push, trying to revive the genre and return it to its former glory. On the 9th may there was 2 stabbings that took place approximately 7:15pm. There has been speculations around why they happened such as it being in Birmingham, that they had a Birmingham drill rapper at a bassline rave which got the wrong crowd, or over drugs. Whatever the reasoning it just shouldn’t happen and is super disappointing for the community. Obviously raves are going to have dickheads that go but if you’re going out with a knife then you already have an intention and shouldn’t go. The event was amazing from the production, to the sets, to the people except one. I danced with a bunch of people and met some good people at the rave. Chad Harrison had arguably one of the best sets I have ever seen. This led to the event getting cancelled half way through understandably. It’s an unfortunate day for the bassline scene and hopefully cru2 can recover from this. It doesn’t help that dnb and house are thriving so much right now.
