I don't read comics much but there is something I want to know. If batcat has been a thing for over 80 years what/who has stopped them from settling down like superman & lois?
The obvious answer is the writers but what's the in comic reason?
People say this has been a continuous back & forth cat mouse type chase. Things progress but then suddenly something happens and everything is back to square one.
Who is the one that has broken off this relationship the most? In DCAMU & the 2016 tom king run, it was the cat who broke it off. In batman WW truth it was batman who broke it off.
I want to know this since many if not all batcat haters declare Catwoman to be a toxic backstabber.
I'm only talking prime earth not elseworlds.

Batman & Catwoman: Sketch
So... I had this sketch pending for Over 4 months (Had made the base drawing) 😭. Found it recently in my sketchbook - and completed it just a Few days ago.
Used a mix of blended shading and hatching for the shadows and shades.

Batcat (Woman with Spanish Cowl, J C Leyendecker) by me!
I've been on on a J C Leyendecker grind and, whelp--
I saw the Spanish Cowl painting he did and I immediately knew it was a Batcat one. It was too perfect not to be them, and I knew I just HAD to Selina's wedding fit. Bless whoever designed it because it's so her... but also FML the intricacy of the embroidery is crazy
But I did ok I think, especially for the first time painting these two myself and keeping it somewhat stylized but still true-ish to Leyendecker's work. Either way, had a lot of fun adapting it to these two, who should be together /shakes fist

Honestly, with how much her history is tied to the character I am surprised that dc never did a time travel story where Huntress, the Helena Wayne version, worked alongside her mother Catwoman, Selina Kyle for an adventure in the past. At the very least showcase how would Selina handle her daughter all grown up and her own heroine.
As fans to the character wouldn’t you like to see mother and daughter working together in an adventure?

Batwoman: Martha Wayne (WIP Updated)
Work in progress but this is my interpretation of Martha Wayne as the Batwoman. Her suit and cowl comes from a form of nanotechnology that was developed by Thomas Wayne, which completely covers her face, so that no one will know who she is. To take off the suit, she uses the wedding ring that she never took off even after becoming a widow.
Update: Needs some paint and ink, but I finally got what I wanted to put in. I'm using Krita, so if any of you got recommendations, feel free to comment. The colors are gonna be black and yellow, but I want them to be latex like.
