Hi gents. I live in OCE and I've returned to playing the game over the past couple of weeks after a year or two off doing other stuff. Unfortunately, our main playerbase has pretty much dissipated in that time. You can get a lobby of 40 or so around primetime, but outside of that it's very quiet. I don't think there's any active Asian servers, either. So if you don't have time to play around the 5-10pm mark on a Thursday-Saturday, you're SOL.

Does anyone know if any of the servers across the pond have loose ping restrictions? I've joined a couple of them but they tend to kick at the 180ms ping mark. I understand it's not the ideal for anyone, I'd much rather play with a full lobby where all of us are about 30-40ms away from the server host, but that isn't very feasible nowadays. Cheers!

Even after all these years i still come back to BF4. No other Battlefield comes close in my opinion.

Have not played BF4 for a long time and it's the one Battlefield games I have most hours on like 700. I remember loving the game a lot. Kind of exciting to be honest. Downloading as I write this. How is the game state, servers? Just tried again BF1 and it's ok just not a big fan of WW1 theme. And I can't play BF6 (event I wanted to give it a try) because of TPM 2.0 requirement. I am not upgrading all system because of RAM prices. Cannot find any games I would like to play. Squad is bit hardcore getting 1 kill in hour and it turns out to be a teammate gets boring quick. Hell let loose is kind of fine but also something is missing for me to keep playing long hours. So here I am going back to BF4. See you in the battle. :)

When you join a game late in a tree dense map like Zavod and the trees are chopped down your client and the server are in a conflict with each other about the physics so if you fly through the area where the tree once was provided you joined after the tree is destroyed you get rubber banded and so if you base an input to save your helicopter from crashing like pulling the nose up youre gonna fly backwards and crash after the server determines there was no tree there

only helicopter mains know what im talking about as far as there were no fixes, you can only prevent this by loading onto the game as soon as it starts

this shit has killed me more times than AA and tanks

I'm in my 50's and bought BF4 a year ago. I got slaughtered at first, which I expected, but have now become a decent player. I usually make myself a squad leader not only to help the team but also so I can keep clear objectives for myself. Most times my squad is scattered through the map elsewhere instead of the objective we're supposed to be attacking. Is this the norm? Is playing with friends the only way to make it work? For classes like sniper and pilot, I get having to be away from the objective, no worries, but when I got a tank and lav on the other side of the map when we need to push for something else is frustrating. Thoughts?
