Finally got my dreamie after years of hunting!

I have a deep special interest in Frankenstein, and have always loved Beanie Babies, so I've made it a quest for almost 4 years to find this guy. And lo and behold, someone was selling him online! It was a 3-hour drive to get him but it was so very worth it.

I can’t find much about this beanie (Blush) online but I thought she’d make a sweet addition to a baby girls nursery (in the future)

Is there anything known about this one? “Blush”

My froggy collection 🐸

I have two more on the way. Wanna collect at least one of each. I try to find them organically out at thrift stores and stuff but sometimes I resort to eBay. I love them all!

My Beanie Taxidermy Art

I've seen a few people share their versions of these, so I hope it's ok to post mine! I started making small versions using the McDonald's Teenie Beanies that have magnet backings in addition to the larger ones. So much fun to do, and they're pretty popular at craft markets!

Trying to find childhood plushie

I’ve always wondered what brand my childhood stuffed animal, Santa Bear, was but he’s so old that the tag is long gone. He came with a red scarf (still has) and a Santa hat with a white pompom that’s long gone. Recently at Value Village I found a TY Classics dog named Scooter and realized him and Santa Bear have almost the exact same body type. I’ve tried scouring the internet on wikis and forums and doing reveres image searches to see if there was ever a TY Classics holiday themed bear but could not seem to find any. The closest thing I’ve gotten to is a bear named Curly but the only resemblance is the fabric. Does anyone know if my Santa Bear even is a TY brand or just a lookalike? I would absolutely love to find a brand new (or almost new) version of him so they could be side by side

Well loved collection

My well loved collection of beanie babies. Only one with a tag but it doesn’t matter as they are just well loved and cherished friends.

Why is he so blonde?!

I found this (extremely well loved) little guy at a thrift shop today, and recognized him as a beanie baby or similar plush. Once I got home I decided to look him up, and to my surprise, he looked EXACTLY like Cassie the Collie, except he’s….platinum blonde?

My first thought was “oh maybe it’s sun damage,” but the fabric looks extremely uniform. I may be wrong, but I feel like sun damage would create a more faded/splotchy pattern unless he was placed in such a way that the sun could bleach him evenly.

Is it possible that he’s been bleached or dyed by hand? Or is he just a weird counterfeit of some sort?

Worth anything? Saw online some of these could be worth a little more than a few dollars, the 2 sets of mcdonalds sealed beanies seem to be worth a little more. Found in moms attic, new to this sub. Thanks!

Baby Pancakes & baby pancakes!

This is my panther beanie baby! I named her Pancakes, cuz she's flat like a pancake :)

Spouse made mini pancakes, and I told them "I gotta go grab Pancakes! It'd be so meta if she ate one!"

She and I both enjoyed the pancakes! Isn't she precious?! I love her so much.

A Baseball Bovine

In the 90s and early 00s, Ty partnered with numerous sports leagues to give away promotional Beanie Babies at specific sporting events and games, most notably with MLB. These were usually limited to the first 10,000 fans in attendance, and always came with a commemorative card marking the occasion. Today, most of these Beanie Babies sell for $15-30 if both the card and the ticket stub to the game in question are included. The beanies themselves are identical to their retail release counterparts.

The one exception, however, is a very special Daisy the cow given out to those in attendance at Wrigley Field on May 3, 1998. The Chicago Cubs played the St. Louis Cardinals that afternoon, and with the recent passing of legendary broadcaster Harry Caray, the game was dedicated to his memory. Caray spent many years calling games for the Cardinals before he became a Cubs announcer.

This Daisy sports an entirely-unique 5th Generation swing tag, accompanied by a standard 6th Generation tush tag. The left interior of the swing tag bears a cartoon caricature of Harry Caray’s likeness, and the right side a poem describing the man and his baseball legacy. This swing tag is not found on any other Daisy (or any other Beanie Baby, for that matter). In mint condition with both commemorative card and ticket, a Harry Caray Daisy is worth $100+.

Pictured above are both the special Harry Caray version, as well as a common 5th gen Daisy for comparison.

Ty Beanie Boos Collection - Cassidy - Keychain *FACTORY DEFECTS*

Does anyone have any information on the condition of this fully intact and sewn straight from the factory defective Cassidy Beanie Boos Keychain? It was purchased from a local CVS a few months back, immediately misplaced, and discovered today… my daughter just brought to my attention the fact that she has two “missing” legs. One leg in the front and one leg in the back, on opposite sides of each other, respectively. I tried the google machine to no avail. Hopeful for the community to pull through on whatever cool info I can gather about her! I think it’s super cool and she absolutely loves her as she is!… thoughts? What would you do with her if you discovered one of these neat (to us) defects?
