My warm and dark Bedroom.

After ~8 months of moving in, I mostly finished my bedroom, only the side room which holds my desk and setup needs some touch ups and I have to get rid of off some storage boxes when I find the space and time for it.

(3 separate rooms turned into 1 L shaped bedroom)

Blackout shades

Hey everyone i hope you are all doing great today. Well straight to the point i need help finding me some blackout shades or something that'll block out light from coming in to my room. My window measures 36 width 60 length but i cant seem to find any that fit the width besides the vinyl blackout shades with the velcro patches. Would 34 width be okay? Its my first time buying blinds for my myself since im used to most houses or apartments already coming with a set of generic basic white blinds. Any and all help is appreciated thank you. Doesnt have to be on amazon either just used it as a reference picture.

How would you design this bedroom

I need ideas on how to design my bedroom. The space is very small and I feel like the bed would take up all the space, so please give me any and all ideas.

Restarting at 30 - need bedroom decor advice

As the title says, I’m currently restarting all over again after my breakup and I’m back to living with my dad with just me and my kitty.

I feel like with every going on right now I just need some advice in terms of making this room feel less depressing 😭

I’m a 30 F - masc lesbian (I include this so y’all don’t start suggesting pink comforter sets and shit 🤣)

Bless my Dads heart but yeah very boring and just needs some life. But I’m actually horrible when it comes to interior design and would always rely on the women in my life to make a room feel like you live in.

I’ve provided some pics of the closet, bathroom & room.

I’d love a full body mirror for sure, def need some cute bath mats and considered buying some marble contact paper for the bathroom counters bc 🫢🤢 I’m also considering maybe buying one of the media tables (for under the TV) that’s actually a litter box holder bc I’m not really sure where his Breeze Litter System is gonna fit here 🥲 (Baby crib won’t be in here for long, so pretend that area is empty)

But please I’m open to any suggestions - I’d truly love to not paint bc I just wanna fill the room to make it homey rather than go off and start painting walls in a home that realistically is being open to me you know?

I just need help in terms of matching stuff. I’d love a like fluffy style comforter like the one I included and I like the concept of that dresser but not sure so do with that what you will

I appreciate any and all suggestions but keep in mind I’m still paying rent at my ex’s place since I’m on the lease so don’t be suggesting some grandiose ideas 😆

Appreciate y’all! Can’t wait to see what y’all suggest

Best mattress for side sleepers? My hip and shoulder pain is getting worse

My current (hand-me-down) mattress is way too firm for me that I’ve been waking up with sore hips and stiff shoulders almost every morning and this has been going on for almost 3 weeks already.

I want to replace it asap because I don’t want to put up with this anymore. Any idea on what’s best for side sleeping (sometimes back)? How do I know or identify which one’s right for me??

Rate my room pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee

Also would like to know what you think it says about me as a person and how old you might guess I am. (Don't mind and please forgive the censored part. It's a personal set of items I was too lazy to move)

I'm beginning to think most of y'all don't know what dirty and unorganized is lol

Help with bedroom placement!

Hi there! I am looking for help with how to arrange my room. I've set up a mock up of what my room looks like. The first picture is how I've set up my room for the last year. Everything isn't exactly to scale. To explain the items in the picture above, it includes my bed, my night stand, on the left is a shelf I have for my accessories by my bed, and the two things near the door are my dressers. On the bottom left side is my window with a baseboard heater. And finally on the right side is my sliding mirror closet doors.

Right now, I really only use the right side of my bed/room since I sleep alone and come in through the door. I'm thinking of moving my bed to the second picture.

Due to the baseboard heater under the window, I can't really just shift my bed to the left. It might not really look it but my bedroom feels a bit cramped right now so I was hoping that shifting my bed would create more space in my room. But I don't want to create any bad energy. Any advice/help would be really appreciated!!

TLDR: I live/sleep alone so how can I maximize space + energy in my room with the current objects + mirrored closet doors I have. Thanks!!

Need Help Decorating my Bedroom.

Hi, I had my bedroom for a while now, but I haven´t got time for decorating up until now. I have already started decorating, but i am running out of ideas. The main thing I want to figure out is the empty wall over my bed, maybe some mirror or something. My style is like dopamine decor, cluttercore or something similar. Colors, shapes, the rooms needs to feel full. Do you have any ideas for some decorations? I have 3D Printers, so I can 3D print some of the decor, and I don´t fear diy. If you would have any Ideas, please let me know. Thanks! Here are some photos of my room :)

My new bedroom wall art

Found the painting 48x32 in a thrift shop for $20!

My bed is in a tiny alcove near the front door that literally only fits the bed and nothing else but it’s still cozy

Bedroom advice

Hey everyone!
I’m looking for some advice on how I can improve my bedroom. At the moment, I feel like it’s quite empty and doesn’t really feel lived-in.

The loft is currently being used for storage. I had my bed up there when I was younger, so I’m wondering whether I should move it back up. If I do, what would you recommend putting underneath the loft? I use the room for sleeping, relaxing, studying, and storage.

I added the cork board under the loft to bring in a bit more colour, but I’m not sure what else I should do.

I’d also like to do something with the wall beside the ladder, whether that’s painting it, adding some artwork, or something else. I’m not really sure what would work best.

I’m also not a huge fan of my current lampshade, so I’d appreciate any suggestions for what I could replace it with.

The window faces east, so it gets direct sunlight in the morning and softer light for most of the rest of the day.

The room is roughly 3 m × 4 m × 2.5 m (9.8 ft × 13.1 ft × 8.2 ft).

I really like colourful, cosy rooms with lots of artwork, patterns, warm lighting and natural materials. I’m not completely sure what aesthetic I’m going for yet, so I’m open to ideas.

Any ideas, suggestions, or even completely different approaches would be really appreciated!

I live with my parents and they own the house.
