i tried to put a book with efficiency 2 on it onto a plain diamond pickaxe on an anvil, but it wouldnt let me. i tried enchanting it first with efficiency one on an enchanting table and tried again but when i tried combining the efficiency 2 book and the newly enchanted pickaxe, it just gave me an efficiency 1 book which really confused me.
is there something im doing wrong?

What do i do, from stopping them being stuck?
I found Goblin trader jonathan in one of my cave exploration trips, and i want to bring him home. i swear i was able to pick him up before (using the carry on mod), and now for some reason i can't. I didn't hit him. I didnt update the game/mods since first picking him up. I tried using the /carryon clear command, i tried rejoining, moving away from him to hopefully reload the chunk, killing myself so that maybe my character resets, i tried putting him in a boat to maybe reset his state, i tried changing carry on's keybind, also nothing. At this point im not sure if i'm not just delusional and didn't really pick him up in the first place. Can i pick him up somehow? If yes, how? (also running the /carryon clear command says "cleared 1 item" every time i use it, even though im not carrying anything, nor did i pick up anything between the command uses.
After 2 hours of parsing through the Enchanted Books and testing if certain enchantments worked together I believe these are the best for all common items.

In BMC4 v58, I accidentally put the blazing backpack inside the withered backpack, now I can't get it out. I had items I needed inside that backpack. To clarify, I'm on a friends' server, and it's not possible to use the creative, in case anyone suggests it. I don't know how to fix it; I even tried logging out and back in, even dying.
