Saw a Tik Tok someone posted during “Not” calling the crowd the dullest uninterested crowd they’ve ever been to and the video kinda backed that up. Anyone there care to add, elaborate or set the record straight?
Which released but non-album tracks are your favorites? (I’m not counting songs that don’t have any kind of official release at this point.)
Some of mine:
- Iris (from Daytrotter sessions)
- Branches (from Daytrotter sessions)
- Questions (abysskiss bonus track) Love this one!!
- Homesick (abysskiss bonus track)
- Love in Mine
- Born for Loving You
- Once a Bunch - really special!
- Feel Better
Overall I think Adrianne and Big Thief do a good job of including their “essential” tracks on their core albums. My wallet is thankful they don’t do the whole Taylor Swift / kpop things of releases 90 different versions of every album. But some of the non-album tracks are just too good to pass up!
I haven’t heard the EPs for charity, so I’m wondering about those tracks especially.
Hey all,
I'm looking for video rips of a couple Big Thief "livestream events" that they hosted in the last few years. I purchased virtual tickets to both of these shows at the time, but I'd love to revisit them. Both shows are fantastic and they should be available to everyone, for posterity if nothing else. The shows are as follows:
Big Thief 4/9/21 - Hosted by Noonchorus
"Featuring a start-to-finish recording of Big Thief's last pre-pandemic US performance in Columbus, OH."
Big Thief House Show 3/17/22 - Hosted by Drift.Live
"Pre-recorded performance featuring stripped-down renditions of tracks, predominantly from Dragon New Warm Mountain I Believe in You in a house in Connecticut."
If you guys have any leads, please send em my way! 🙏
