I fumbled...

Never seen Bilmuri live and I could've^((should've)) got a VIP ticket to the Orlando show last week for ~$130—which was insane because the GA (resale?) price was around that or more... Just checked back and there's only GA Resale left for $200+.

Is Bilmuri blowing up with the new album or something? I'm out of the loop and genuinely curious, haha. The closest I've spent to that for a concert was Pierce The Veil last year, and maybe MCR on their 2022 Reunion tour. Unfortunately, I have to take the L in this case because I can't justify the resale price. :(

Edit: Hopefully this isn't breaking Rule 2, this was more so just a discussion post not an inquiry.

I made the tour recap holding up the bust!

I was the one that tossed it to the hog father, and one of the dudes behind me made it with his 3D printer

hogman spotted in DC

kinda hard dc was sooooooo perfect. we got to the anthem early for the GA queue and Jawn passed us on lime scooters and just screamed “nice shirts”. then we had lunch, etc, and got in line. the night before my fiance and i made like 80 little hog/american motor duck keychains and i was dying to get some to the band. even made green ones for GANG! (i love them x100 more after the show)

the whole band then just strolled by and i was able to give gabi a bunch of keychains and talk to her for a min, truly such an amazing and wonderful human. i love her so much. we chilled until doors and here comes JAWN, he looked like he lit up when he saw us again and it was like in the moment he was there to meet us. The whole band so genuine and you can feel that he does really love his fans. for the photo he said “look pissed” but i was too happy LOL. in the photo he has approx 10 keychains in his hand because i just kept handing them to him while also giving him green ones and asking him to give them to GANG! he took photos and then was like ok! going to poop see u soon! 10/10 day. can’t wait to do it again in philly on 9/11🗡️🐗✨🦅🇺🇸🎶

Collective Hat Pics

Love the idea of city specific color combos and was on the fence on grabbing one last night in Boston, I ultimately did and love it!

Then it got me interested to see all the different combos. Feel free to add any I missed but I just did a quick rip through the reddit.

Crank on 🤘🏻

NYC show - Kinda let down

Let me start by saying that pier 17 is my favorite venue so knowing that Bilmuri was doing a show there got me so damn excited last year and I bought tix immediately.

I have seen Bilmuri at Irving and Brooklyn steel in the past 2 years and I can say they were amazing shows to be at so my expectations were very high for Pier 17.

Let’s start with something small; the hat. As a big sports fan, to see the hat drop being different at every show was a great idea and I was psyched for it. I thought of the endless possibilities of what the hat would be; orange and blue for Knicks and Mets?, red and blue for Giants and rangers? I knew my jets were going to be left out so that’s okay, but Yankee blue and white? Okay, not a Yankee fan, but when I saw an earlier fan rocking the hat before the show and he got it from Dallas and they were cowboys colors, I immediately felt like something was amiss.

Even if you are a Yankee fan; the hat looks very generic and might as well be the official hat colors. Cinci, Detroit, Nashville and ATL all got great color ways for the hats that properly represented the city.

Okay, enough about hats…the show it self. Like I said, I have seen bilmuri twice in NYC and both shows were amazing. Gabi is from NYC so the show should feel more special…well nahhh…I understand pier 17 has a hard time stoppage but the show just felt like song after song after song. No breaks, no talking to the crowd, little to no interaction.

Add that to the sound issues they had all night, the show felt incredibly underwhelming. It be lame for me to blame they just did this HUGE show tor Nashville for a DVD, but honestly it felt like a hangover for them to even do this show.

First timers may not see it, but it was really clear to others who seen them before, this show felt run of the mill, get in and get out.

It’s okay if you don’t agree, but I go to shows constantly and bilmuri is my fav band so maybe my expectations were too high, but overall, it felt like a weak show.

GANG! appreciation thread

I went to both SLC and Boston shows. Both awesome start to finish. Boston def had more energy/rowdier crowd. I’m old so
I had to stand on the edge. 😂

GANG! put on a 30 minute SHOW. The video games/ skateboarding/ apples/ blowup dolls/ Tony Hawk/ push-ups/ guitar smash/ boo’ing/ ripped bass guy/ kickflips (almost)/ ect…

Last night the Boston crowd went hard for them.

I go to dozens of shows a year and yawn through many opening bands… THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT. I played guitar in many “opening bands” when I was young and trust me that shit ain’t easy. Respect.

p.s- Bilmuri merch… I got SLC and Boston hats and the Jersey. GANG! merch I would have bought a shirt but they had no XXL.

The End at the end of the Kind Hard Tour

Kinda* Hard since Autocorrect wants to be cheeky.

Boston was awesome and Jahn, Reese, and Gabby are solidly some of the best performers alive. The guy near me cranked so hard he nearly fell off the balcony, but I got this footage of the Hogsquatch in action

I made the ultimate Bilmuri playlist

https://open.spotify.com/playlist/2ySGadXEcUPtMe1sZdLMc9?si=1a1yTKD5S36-R_gCv8guig&pi=N9i63_ewTo6KB

I noticed a new "mix" feature on Spotify that lets you customize song to song transitions in a few different ways. At the same time, as much as I've been listening to Kinda Hard, I've also been listening nonstop to everything from wet milk to now, and wanted to make a playlist that FULLY CAPTURES the Bilmuri sound, both for my own listening as well as introducing friends who've only heard a bit of AMS.

I hand selected each song and the order of them, and custom mixed each one for the ultimate Guided Hog Crank experience. Check it out, if you so please. I'm pretty proud of every transition, but my favorites are BRUH.mp4 into JACKEDANDSTACKED, BACK THEN into KEEPINITBEEFY, and WORST PART OF YOU into THE END.

Would love some feedback!

Song recommendations

Reddit suggested a post from this sub so I gave him a listen. Started with his most streamed on Spotify “More Than Hate” then picked a random album and song. Went with “Hogman’s Delight”
Absolutely loved them!!
Curious if anyone has some more song suggestions or should I just play the “this is Bilmuri” playlist and dive in?

DC video request

Anyone happen to get any video of when Johnny first came out to the barricade? Gave high fives to my daughter and I and hoping maybe someone caught it on video. Sadly didnt get my phone out in time. I had a black and blue "Blegh" hat on if that helps and we were to the far right of the barricade. Hoping someone can help a dad and daughter out. Thanks!

Anyone miss old Bilmuri?!

I finally saw Bilmuri live last night in NYC at rooftop at pier 17 and it was fucking amazing. Incredible performance and enjoyed every second.

But I'm just a little bummed they don't play any of their old stuff. I got into Bilmuri back in his very early days with the albums Bilmuri, Letters, and Frame. I know these albums aren't super popular, but they are his best material in my opinion and I wish he'd play just a few songs from them.

I'm super happy for Johnny getting big and popular, but these songs have such sentimental meaning to me and I feel like no one really knows them.

Anyone else love and miss these tracks? If you're not familiar, sharing some of my favorite songs below to check out:

Across
Overlooked
Quiet
Light
Conditional
Near
