Caught this juvenile Red-tailed Hawk while taking pics of rock climbers on an overcast day

Photographed this juvenile Red-tailed Hawk in Ontario, Canada. I love how the small amount of sunlight that day illuminates the flight feathers and reveals all that beautiful detail. One of my favourite captures!

Does anyone know what bird this is. Everyone keeps saying it was a pigeon but I’m telling you this thing was the size of a Cooper’s hawk. It was fucking big. So unless I literally saw the biggest fucking pigeon ever. It wasn’t a pigeon. And it wasn’t acting like a pigeon either. It was perching !!

White-Tailed Kite in Northern CA

I was driving down i5 late last year and saw what looked like a small hawk but it looked very unusual compared to what I’d typically spot around Portland. This was the first Kite I’d seen and the clouds in the background and lack of color in the frame really compliment the birds natural coloration.

Snack time, Bethnal Green London

This bird was casually eating away with people and other birds nearby. When the magpies saw it, they got loud.
