I have Black Ops 7, and while I enjoy it, I'd like to buy Black Ops 6 because I like it even more. However, I want to play BO7 until the end of Season 6 so I get my money's worth out of the game. I just don't want to feel like I wasted money and leave it behind.

That's why I'm torn over whether I should buy Black Ops 6 now or not. It's on Steam for $28. Should I buy it later, and will it likely go on sale soon after the Black Ops 7 seasons end or just buy it now?

On July 7, COD HQ is getting an update. This update will officially remove Black Ops 6 from the COD HQ to free up space for Modern Warfare 4. Now, this may sound familiar. If you remember, on the July 29, 2025, Activision did this to Modern Warfare III to free up space for Black Ops 7. What happened then? Well, Xbox users were easily able to re-download the game from the microsoft store and boot it up whether they had the disc or digital version. However, PS users, specifically those who owned the disc were unable to do the same. Now, a few people did find a work around. But essentially, it made the disc version for PS users obsolete and many to this date still can't re-download Modern Warfare III. The exact same thing is about to happen on July 7 to Black Ops 6. What are you all doing to prepare for this update? I personally plan to sell my physical copy and wait until the game is offered for free on PS Plus.

For PS5: I haven't played bo6 since before bo7 came out. Had to go through the trouble of downloading all the BO7 files cause COD is a shitty dev team but ok whatever. Tried playing BO6 on the game menu, but when I click on "All Modes" it just does nothing, going back to the game menu as if i pressed the Circle button.

I renewed the game license a ton it did nothing. I tried restarting a ton and nothing. I tried uninstalling BO7 files only (multiplayer and zombies) in storage and rebooting, nothing. Always the same thing when i click "All Modes". Campaign for BO6 works just fine.

I have no interest in campaign or zombies i just wanna play bo6 multiplayer. Please help! :(

UPDATE EDIT: Someone figured it out. Delete all BO6 and BO7 files except for main COD file. Then go into the game, go over to BO6 and select "Download &&1" (that's what it's called) and multiplayer will download instead of the campaign. it worked for me :)

I really like the look of BO6 but I'm kicking myself for not buying it sooner. I've missed every season's battle pass, so my skin collection is basically zero.

For those playing regularly, is the missed content something I can easily look past, or does it ruin the experience? Should I just buy it anyway?

I am on my way to 600 nukes. I have a video of me getting 4 nuclear's and 5 brutal's in 1 game. I would of have 5 nukes in that game if I didn't fumble... One other dude I play with is the only one I know that has more nukes than me.. Anyone else out there got a high nuke count? We still play the game. Usually we only play Demotion but we play anything. Hes #1 in the world for demoliton and im currently sitting at #7 for the most wins.

So I’m trying to play bo6 multiplayer and zombies. What be downloaded the hq but whenever I try to download bo6 it shows up with bo7 multiplayer. I’ve tried the manage files tab but it’s all bo7. I’ve been researching for hours and I just don’t understand how to do it.

I bought BO7 a month and a half ago, and I was enjoying it. However, yesterday I tried BO6 with Game Pass, and I think I like this game more than BO7. The graphics look more beautiful and realistic (at least to me), and it kinda ruined BO7 for me. Now, I feel like I wasted my money, well kinda. And I'm split between buying BO6 or not.

Hey guys, I re-downloaded the game after months and I want to ask if there are still double xp weekend events in bo6? I've read some article say it is live this weekend from 02/07 but I don't see anything. How about you?

My problem is the same like other guys,cant access mp or zombies,but mine,i have another issue,my multiplayer pack 1 does appear and does install but when i go to library and check complements of COD hq It tells me that its installed but it lets me instal It again tho It doesnt do anything,is this normal or not? I play in a ps4

Hey yall! I just bought BO6 last night on PS, and I'm thinking of tryna mess around & play mainly on Citadelle Des Morts, using the swords, tryna get to high rounds, maybe try to do the EE.....

Anyone got any advice for what I could focus on, though? I saw that there was an Augments system for Perks & Field Upgrades similar to back in CW, I'm curious if the swords kill infinitely or if there's a point any of them stop being 1 shots, and I'm curious about just general stuff to keep in mind if I play the map

I'm trying BO6 with Game Pass and thinking about buying it, but in Liberty Falls and almost every map, I get 70 FPS, and it's dropping to 50 on groups of zombies. Settings are set on high with DLSS balanced, but even with Medium settings, I still get the same FPS, so no improvement whatsoever.

My GPU is an RTX 2080 Ti, and my CPU is an AMD Ryzen 5 5600G with 32GB RAM, which is within the Recommended specs, so I'm not sure what the issue is here. I don't have this problem in Black Ops 7, I get 110–115 FPS on the same settings. I would appreciate the help.

(I tried every upscaling option and even turning it completely off, and it's still the same.)

It literally prevents you from getting stakeout and nuketown half the time its like they did it on purpose. All the other maps are either ok or horrible.

Activision has seemingly accidentally removed BO6 from the PS5. It is technically there in the call of duty launcher but only the campaign is accessible. If you download the game today and try to install either zombies or multiplayer, neither will launch. You will see a ‘all modes’ option in the COD launcher and that will do nothing if you select it. I’ve tried everything. Installing/reinstalling, rebuilding the PlayStation database, installing the full ~150GB base game, manually installing game files from PS launcher and COD launcher. Nothing works. If you want to install and play zombies or multiplier today you are out of luck. File a support ticket with Activision and select bug > installation to let them know this is broken.
