I’ve run into the Demented Echo a few times and despite shooting it, I get over run by hordes. How tf do you kill it? I’ve tried sneaking up on it. Horde spawns. I’ve tried being a bit away from it. Horde spawns. I’ve tried crouching at a distance and shooting. Horde spawns. I’m getting sick of being lit on fire and having zombies up my ass.
So I have an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5060 Ti (16 GB) with 32 GB of RAM, but whenever I load into a multiplayer match, sometimes the textures and graphics get all terrible and blurry at random. I've put the game on the highest settings. I've refreshed the shader cache, but I haven't installed the High Resolution Assets DLC. Do I need to do that? And if not, what else should I do to fix this?
not sure if this works for anyone else, but opening Apple Music while in-game, then reopening BOCW seems to fix the stuttering issues, aswell as the audio crackling.
I'm thinking of getting a refund for Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War because I already own Modern Warfare II unless there's an actual reason to keep it. What's the difference? These are my first two CoD games, and I've already put an hour into them trying to see what the difference is and if Cold War is worth it to keep.
Please, if there's anything at all I can do to even just make the memory leak not as bad, I'll take it. The game is dropping to the worst settings quality and working its way back to my settings every thirty seconds. The game is so miserable and unplayable and I just need something that at least sort of works.
I bought mw2 ( the bad one) and been playing it with my friends and having a blast . Though i,d give this game a chance, multiplayer is probably dead but zombies is the reason to play the to Begin with, so just wanted to ask if I buy this game will guys play zombies with me?
Got the game on sale and damn, what an amazing campaign it was. And IMO, this was the last best campaign in the modern COD era. Hopefully, MW4 comes with something really good

So Ive been planning on getting cod mw 2019 and cold war for awhile now but I hear d about an update that made the fps drop and it made it unplayable on ps5. Are these problems still there or should I get cold war and if the problems are still there what should I get instead of cold war

A few weeks back, I posted my replica of Woods' Infiltration kit that I built for Desucon 2026, for cosplay purposes. While opinions varied here; the reception was mostly quite warm, and the main issues brought up were the lack of facial hair and my hair color. (That, and not yet having the worn face of a 50-year-old man, thank god.)
Nevertheless, I did mention having also built his alternate Stealth kit, best known for having been used in what is in my opinion arguably the best mission in the game - Redlight, Greenlight, and here it is.
The setup is similar in many ways to his main kit; but there are key differences. The heavy LBV-E vest is gone and replaced with an AWS Strike chest rig - which while anachronistic and belonging to the 90s, was heavily used by Delta in that era. Similarly, the sawn-off M79 grenade launcher on his hip is gone as well. And of course, the Colt Model 727 carbine has been switched for the suppressed MP5SD submachinegun.
However, it must be said that this was an alternate kit I did not focus nearly as much on. Thus a few creative liberties were taken while putting it together, but at the end of the day, I am still quite happy with the outcome. For example, I decided to litter the chest rig with Cyalume chemlights and Flash-Crash stun grenades which do fit the period, but do not appear on the original model, just to make it look a bit less plain.

Hey guys, I'm pretty new to PS5 gaming and picked up Black Ops Cold War about 5 days ago just to play campaign mode lol. Well, I ended up finishing the whole story in just 2 days. It felt way too short for the price.
Can anyone recommend a CoD game available on PS5 that has a good campaign but actually lasts a bit longer? Skip Vanguard, please.
Also, if there are other tactical/military shooters with that same energy, hit me with them. I used to be obsessed with the SOCOM series back in the PSP days and would love to find something that captures that squad/tactical vibe.
So I've been wanting to buy Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War for some time now. I play on PC, so I first checked the Steam reviews, and apparently people are saying that there are tons of problems, most being that some people can't even open the game or play an online match.

Since the recent unexpected 7GB update, a significant number of PS5 players are experiencing severe FPS drops and stuttering mid-match, making the game unplayable. I'm creating this thread to centralize everything we know so far.
The issue :
FPS dropping from 120 to below 30 mid-match, stuttering, screen tearing and freezes. Happens in both 60Hz and 120Hz mode. Affects multiplayer mainly but also campaign and zombies for some.
What does NOT fix it (community tested) :
Current hypothesis :
The update modified a large number of files simultaneously, including one known to be easily corrupted. The PS4 version appears equally affected.
