I wanna know your thoughts on this the most, I guess everyone probably knows about the yk leaked trainee footage of them saying a certain word, I’m not justifying or defending that, it is still wrong but I feel like context is quite crucial in the state they are in.
Of course they were trainees at that time, really uncertain on when they’re gonna debut, another one is how you know pressuring and competitive the system and one wrong turn they do (around that time) will ruin their chances of debuting. Still that doesn’t excuse what they said, but I think it’s worth considering the circumstances rather than looking at the footage completely in isolation.

Another thing I noticed the most especially in that person involved releasing all those footages is a big majority is all BP, like from scrapped mvs, dance practices, etc etc, like I know there are other footages of YG artists too but majority is BP and it’s a bit suspicious right? One thing I noticed too there was another trainee footage of another idol in YG saying the same word, but never gotten any heat for it whereas the pinks in the other hand they got the most heat during that time.

Another thing to point out was the timing too like during that time Coachella was getting closer and I know both Jennie and Lisa were in the lineup during that time those leaks were circulating , which arguably made the situation even more damaging because they were already under a lot of public attention.

Then ofc Lisa’s documentary on how she wanted to adress the situation and apologize through LLOUD when that circulated but YG stopped her for the sake of “avoiding more scrutiny” when we know damn well how much hate she gotten at that time too and in my opinion the ones who should have addressed the whole thing is YG themselves and footages being leaked without consent too and members being minors it’s a serious consideration as well, I guess that’s me.

But what do you think, were these footages really meant to tarnish the girls?
