Does the time amount change during game play some times?

I swear it starts the game with quite a bit of time but sometimes it seems to get much much shorter and I never anticipate it. Am I imagining this or does it happen sometimes?

Which iOS iPhone browser?

Currently using Firefox and selecting sometimes does not register and there’s an issue where this half page transparent screen loads that I can’t close, forcing me to close it.

Safari has its own troubles at times when I used it. It does work well on iPad iOS though.

Any recommendations for something better?

Way to refresh BGA suggestions?

BGA has been suggesting Terraforming Mars and Agricola to me for about 5 years now if not more under "Our selection for you". I have tried both and do not like them. I have played probably 40+ new games since these suggestions were generated, mostly much lighter games. Is there any way to get the BGA suggestions to refresh, or to actually suggest games based on what I do play? I would love to get actual recommendations!

ELO and Karma for tournaments

Hi all, I'm planning to create a tournament for coworkers. We have a sport and social club at work and I will propose that we can play boardgames tournament online. Winner would get a real game that we played.

My concerns - can I create a tournament and can people who don't have any elo in the game join?

As most of coworkers would create an account and play that game for the first time on the tournament.

Tnx U for your help.

Is it possible to extract card images for a tier list?

Is there a way to access the image assets on BGA for purposes of making a tier list? Or is there a consistent path/url where these are stored?

Specifically, I'm looking for all the card images for Forest Shuffle: Dartmoor right now. I may be interested in doing this for other games as well.

Why so few tables available?

Hi!

I'm wondering something and decided to ask, since you guys might have an idea about it. 😄

Lately I've noticed how hard is to get a table (at least for some games) and I'm wondering if I just like games that are not popular (or not as popular as they were), or if anyone else has this little problem.

I've been on BGA for years (usually free user, but for quite some time I used Premium). Tbh I never experienced a situation when it was hard to get a table waiting for players. There were times, ofc, but not something I noticed month after month. Nowadays either I don't see any tables, or they vanish in an instant when they appear after I wait for a long time. The only games I don't have problems with are Seasons, but it's free, so... I also had no problem with Exhibition when it was still free and don't have problem with Dozito or Flip 7, but same case - they're free.

I don't think it's due to my game choices, but maybe? Maybe there's not that much Premium users lately? I bet there are a few explanations that didn't cross my mind. I'm curious what you think. 😃

[Examples of premium games that I searched in past months: Sushi Go, Ticket to ride, Exhibition, Kingdomino, Lucky Numbers, My Shelfie (both), CuBirds, 7 Wonders Duel, Azul, Copenhagen, Catan, Patchwork, Splendor, Sobek, Lost Cities. I know some of them are extremely hard to find players for, but surely not all of them?)

I think I've searched as thoroughly as I possibly can with no explanation--- What is the point of account XP?

Tournaments award XP for winning. Cool! Uh... What's it do?

I am preparing to launch my first board game on Kickstarter and would be happy to get some feedback.

Hey everyone! I am preparing to launch my first board game on Kickstarter and would be happy to get some feedback. I put all my love for stories about the Wild West into this game—about pioneers who discovered the incredible beauty of the frontier and the native people who had to defend the lands of their ancestors.
Feel free to share your first impressions and let me know if this game interests you.
Thanks

Zombicide is a ton of fun but the bugs are annoying

Tried the Zombicide Beta yesterday and we were all instantly drawn into it. We played M1 four times, winning on the 4th, and then played M2. M2 has combat bugs that prevent characters from shooting close to the spawn zones (Lili and Ned for sure). I sure hope they get this dialed in better because this is going to be our main for a while.
