Security Guard Parking Lot Confrontation Ends in Shooting (Self-Defense Ruling)

Bodycam footage captures the aftermath of a violent confrontation in a parking lot outside a preschool and nearby medical clinic in Portland, Oregon.

According to investigators and the District Attorney, the incident began when a driver allegedly entered the area at high speed and nearly struck a security guard on duty. The guard confronted the driver, and the situation quickly escalated into a heated exchange.

Moments later, the confrontation turned physical, with both men engaging in a struggle on the ground. Reports state the driver gained control during the fight, leaving the guard in a vulnerable position.
