Boho-ify our bedroom!
Hi there! We moved into this rental house recently, and we don’t have a lot of decor in the bedroom yet. Before I go ham on it, I wanted to see what suggestions any of you guys may have :)

Hi there! We moved into this rental house recently, and we don’t have a lot of decor in the bedroom yet. Before I go ham on it, I wanted to see what suggestions any of you guys may have :)
I (39m) recently purchased my first little (1100 sq ft) townhouse after renting for many years. Over the years just keeping an eye out for what I like and dislike in terms of style, I have found that I really like boho as my primary style and maybe a mix of a little rustic as well.
As you can see it’s still pretty messy as I get situated in my home but I’m wondering what might be some easy and smart design choices for the living room in the boho (and maybe a touch of rustic) style?
I have plans to likely paint the walls in Benjamin Moore’s October Mist color. I’d like to change out the two light fixtures (one is on the fan) to a more woven style design I think? I’d like a window seat of some kind by the two windows next to each other. Maybe some floating wood shelves. I have a couple of art pieces to hang but over time would love to acquire many more and of various styles and colors.
As of now I’m planning to keep the blue couch and bookshelf (the boxes are filled with books but was waiting to paint the walls), but I’d like to switch out the coffee table and tv stand with better options.
I’d love to hear any thoughts!
Here are a few more pics. Again, so many boxes filled with stuff to put up or change out. Curtains, big floof chair, pillows, curtains etc. Am I on the right track for comfy cozy boho relax feral swamp witch forest goblin vibes?
I’m planning to upgrade to a full bed soon and get new sheets, duvet, etc. in the process. I’m trying to figure out how to find new bedding that will work with my carpet. I feel like the green pinstripe works already, but I’m bored of it. I’m looking to do some pattern mixing, but will that be too busy with the rug? And I don’t want to get rid of the rug because it’s beautiful! Looking for any and all suggestions! I attached pictures of my current set up and some set ups that I’m a fan of but might not work with my current situation
