Anyone from NYC know where I can get one????

This has been my favorite tree since forever. They’re very common, big tree in the Dominican Republic. But I’ve seen very small kept bush like plants on some of these posts. I’ve checked a few nursery’s and plant stores and unconventional stores or supermarkets that sell plants. I’ve NEVER seen one out and around NYC. Maybe someone can help a sister out!!! Queens would be better. But just let me know where to look!

Bougainvillea white with light pink tint

Got this bougainvillea from local nursery. It has smaller white flowers with very faint pink hue. Looks like Jamaica White or Seafoam. Anyone knows the variety name?

Help is it dead?

I planted my bougainvillea last year and it was blooming so beautifully. I am in Chicago so it get cold here over the winter but was under the impression it would bloom again. Is it dead, should I dig it out or should I give it more time to see if it will bounce back?

bougainvillea not flowering!! Need help

got this bougainvillea plant last year in November from a local vendor. It was flowering beautifully when I first got it. but within 2-3 weeks of getting it, all the leaves and flowers fell off. I thought maybe it was because of the change in location and environment which might've been stressful for the plant.

It got leaves this january again, but it looks sad and the plant doesn't look healthy.

What can I do to care for it? I had kept it in a south east facing balcony till january, then shifted it to a west facing balcony in February. It gets ample sunlight and I only water it when the soil looks dry to me. I have posted a photo of the soil mix in the pot as well.

Am I under or over watering?

Bought from a nursery about a month ago and over the last couple weeks realized it is losing flowers and wilting.

Have been watering roughly every day to “get it established” but leaves are soft to the touch and fear I may be over watering even though soil currently feels dry.

Chat GPT is giving me different answers depending on what picture I show so totally lost on how to move forward.

Any help appreciated : )

Is it possible to grow Bougainville as a tree like this?

If so how can I convert my Bougainville in pot into something like this?

I want a small Bougainville tree of height 1.5-2metres which has enough grith to support its weight. I don't want it to relay on other support structures.

I ready to dedicate my time doing all care and maintanence. I know it will take years. But I'm ready to commit.

I really want something like this in my backyard. Kindly tell me how to achieve this. Thanks in advance.
