First Grief Jog/Walk & Coffee For Young Adults In Staffordshire This Sunday

Hi r/Staffordshire, I’m Luke and I run a community called Too Young To Grieve, which some of you might have seen in other city and county subreddits recently.

One thing I’ve realised over the last few years is that grief can be incredibly lonely and not just because of the loss itself, but because it often feels like nobody around you truly understands what you’re carrying. Even when people do try.

We’ve spent the last few months building jog/walk clubs and coffee meet ups for young people navigating grief across the UK.

Holly reached out wanting to bring something like this to Staffordshire and honestly it felt like a natural fit. So here we are.

We’re launching our first Staffordshire meet up - a relaxed jog/walk followed by coffee with people who understand grief without it needing much explanation.

All paces welcome, no pressure to talk about anything personal, and most people turn up on their own for the first time which is completely normal. If you’re feeling a bit nervous feel free to message us and will make sure you feel welcome.

We’ve also got a community where people stay connected between meet ups.

If this sounds like something you or someone you know might need, we’d love to see you there 🤍
