this panel on YT wasn't working on full screen, now its fixed

I have been using brave for quite a while now, definitely several years. It’s a good browser, very good in fact. It’s nice not having ads and I haven’t had any complaints with it till now. For some odd reason if I try to open a link in a new tab it starts trying to save it to my files instead! This is especially upsetting because I’m trying to mod and I was able to open a link in a new tab a few months ago. Did something change? Are tother people experiencing this issue? Is there a way to fix this issue? I spent quite a while trying to come up with a fix for this but alas I couldn’t quite figure it out. It’s extremely unfortunate because as an employed adult who has a loving family and responsibilities I couldn’t dedicate an all nighter to trying to find a solution some people have lives. Anyways hopefully this post is long enough and not “low effort” like some child said it was so I could actually get answers to my problem without Reddit automatically filtering out my post

It has been some weeks since last time it did that, i closed browser and immediately shut down the PC, last night. It usually works, or more like, most of the time. but today, i saw this error, for the 5th time this year.

So you probably know what happened after i clicked okay on that error, all passwords have been removed, all accounts have been logged out and some extensions has been disabled, which is getting really annoying. I have logged in for the most of the accounts, since i have the passwords saved in my pc.

but the question is, how can i prevent this from happening yet again? knowing that it will happen again in the next few days or weeks?

On iOS 27.0.1, the large Dark Brave app icon is completely invisible on the Home Screen. The app is still present and works normally when launched from App Library or Search.
This only affects the Large + Dark icon combination. The following work correctly:
Small + Light
Small + Dark
Large + Light
Steps to reproduce:
Open Brave’s app icon settings.
Select the Dark icon.
Set the Home Screen icon size to Large.
Return to the Home Screen.
The Brave icon’s space is present, but the icon itself is invisible.
Device: iPhone 17 Pro
