Proton pass app is not working with brave browser on Android

I checked with chrome and it works just fine. i tried changing autofill service in both android and also in the browser. i disabled brave password manager too but nothing works. I'm on vivo y56 . plzz help

Google Search is always asking to verify

So if I type anything directly from the Brave browser toolbar, it will 100% ask me to verify that I am not a robot.

If I am visiting google .com and then trying to search for something 60% times it's asking to verify, and 40% it's passing.

I am using residential IP. Most funny thing is in Comet Browser, I don't have this issue at all. I have been facing this since last 3 months. Is there any fix for this?

Issues with Brave

Hi, after a year of not using Brave I wanted to use it again (Brave was just sitting on my system, occasionaly used by my wife), and I decided to use it again. But I met with weird lags while typing, google search takes long time to find something, Font is blurry. Those problems does not occure on other browsers. Does anyone have similiar problems? Brave is up to date, system is Windows.

Edit: Turning Hardware acceleration to off and then to on solved the problems.

Brave stopped blocking some ads and trackers

Hello everyone,

I am a brave user in general and mostly satisfied with its convienents, most the privacy tools are built in, shredding website, containers for each tab, ad and tracker blocker etc.

However;

Brave browser (both mobile and desktop) used to block fully the doubleclick.net and page2.goovlesyndication.com ads.

The firefox ublock origin combination is able to block these and doesnt have an issue.

Even though the aggresive shield is selected and additional third party (oisd big and Hagezi ultimate) including proton vpn mallware, adblock selected and DNS set to mullvad base. it is still not able to block them, which is weird.

Any solution to this brave not blocking some elements ? When it was used to block it with an ease.

idk if it’s just me but every time I try to move a convo from chatgpt to claude or gemini it just falls apart

copy paste works… but not really. formatting breaks, long threads get messy, and you lose half the context anyway

i got annoyed enough that I hacked together a small chrome extension that just exports the whole chat properly so I can reuse it in another AI

been using it for a bit now and it actually makes switching models way less painful, especially for coding stuff

wasn’t really planning to share it but figured I’d drop it here in case it’s useful to someone

Low FPS Youtube problems in Monterey (1.90.122)

Hi community,

I'm currently running the latest build in my MBP with Monterey (it's the best OS version for my laptop's specs). Have been running Brave for 6 years straight (and have installed it in every other mac from friends and so's), but only this year I started to experience Youtube video flickering, freezing and going on low fps. Audio always goes OK.

I initially thought it was cache but it wasn't. Also tried switching GPU acceleration but it made no difference. I did a maintenance erase and install of everything in my MBP just a couple weeks ago. At first, it behaved normally, but then it started again.

Is someone experiencing the same problems?

YouTube on Brave is barely watchable right now

Out of the blue, I'm encountering massive lag spikes on YT Videos. From what I can see in the 'Stats for Nerds', For roughly 4000 Frames, ~600 of them dropped. Watching the videos is possible, but at the cost of not a single jolt of enjoyment attached.

Steps I've already done:

- Disabling Hardware Accelaration
- Ensured that Brave is on the newest build
- Installed enhanced-h264ify
- Blocked the framerate to stable 60FPS via 3rd party software (RivaTuner)

Not really sure what else can I do besides re-installing the browser, which preferably I would do as a last resort.

my font is pixelated on brave

like idk sudddenly my brave and my entire screen like made every font pixelated for no reason i hope its not a gpu problem or maybe just a brave problem (its good veen if i can fix it only on brave) so like i found smth from 7 years ago but its not realy helpful cuz i cant find teh right settings,could somone gently help me please its killing my eyes :(

Brave is Losing??

Is it just me or brave have been failing adblock and other key features even for few times a day ?? :/

Specially the yt adblock at 3-4Am it doesn't works it's prolly fine the whole day.

And for the fact that i use two adblock extensions for yt still.

Mobile Browser AI ?

I keep turning off AI summaries and it keeps turning itself back on. Is there anyway to stop AI summaries in the brave browser, the mobile browser specifically? I searched through the sub and found this question asked multiple times over the last several years with no answer.

Why does brave keep clearing my cache? (IOS)

Title semi explains itself, but brave keeps clearing my cache for some reason. Its getting annoying as i have to keep relogging into websites. I tried to disable clearing browsing history, cache, cookie and site data in settings. But they keep re enabling themselves. Any help?
