MIDNIGHT MACHINE

Some of you need to chill. I’d rather see a company delay a product than rush out something that doesn’t work just to meet a release date.

Midnight Machine literally told people not to buy until the release video was out. If this was just a cash grab, why would they discourage people from ordering before seeing the product?

Mechanical issues happen in product development. That’s true whether it’s firearms, cars, or anything else. I’d rather they fix the issue now than have hundreds of customers dealing with broken products later.

Everyone is entitled to be skeptical until they see the video, but calling it a scam before they’ve even had the chance to fix the issue seems premature. Wait for the video, judge the product on its performance, and if it isn’t what they claimed, then criticize it.

Until then, they’re doing what any responsible manufacturer should do: fixing the problem before shipping.

I’ll reserve my judgment until the product is actually released. That’s a lot more reasonable than assuming the worst.

Dear Midnight Machine

How do we go from starting preorders, dropping the release video, stating its currently 2 position but will be 3 pos on release, it’s not just a trigger it is a whole upper kit, to big 4th of July release just for a mystery catastrophic error to happen…just seems like a big money grab while releasing a bunch of other TP9 stuff BESIDES the frt which was coming end of Q1. Please do not fall for this scam cause this shit is ridiculous at this point. Until they put out ANYTHING that actually proves they have a functioning frt (idc if the gun blows mid mag dump atp) it’s just them blowing fairy dust out their ass and slapping a 650$ price tag on it for you to buy it. Rant over

SPC9 FRT - Cloak Ind

I received my FRT from the pre-order. Fit and finish was as advertised. Install was straight forward and it works semi and safe. BUT FRT mode is not working. When flipped to FRT the trigger is not fully resetting and locking so I am getting hammer follow with a dead trigger. I am getting full extraction and rechambering of the next round but the hammer is following the bolt home with a dead trigger. Dry fire testing with no pressure on the trigger seems to work correctly and the trigger is visabily resting and audibly locking. ANY pressure on the trigger while dry testing and it is not resetting. Have used several different ammo manufactures and having the same issue.

FYI, not my first FRT and I am not over squeezing the trigger. I have tried varying pressure with just enough pressure to get the initial break. I have even tried to quickly fire the first round and release to try and see if that would allow the trigger to reset but I still am getting the same result. Emailed Cloak but figured I would post here as well.

After 200 Rounds paint chip. Is that normal?

I have the APC9 for two weeks and went to shoot it twice. The shells are thrown out as if they were projectiles themselves and now already this. Is that normal?

Thank you.

B&T Mk12 Hub review

After 9 rounds fired, I'll rate this an F-.

This certainly wasn't worth waiting months for and having to threaten charge back to get.

Recoil - MPX vs B&T SPC9

A friend got a used SPC9 and we met a third person at a range who brought his CZ Scorpion to compare to my MPX Copperhead (4.5” barrel).

All three of us found the MPX has much less recoil than the other two.

I also perceived the SPC9 recoil wasn’t a whole lot better than the Scorpion. The CZ owner doesn’t agree with me though.

Anyways I have always been curious about the B&T PCC lineup. The SPC9 has some unique features but I’m sticking with the MPX for shooting comfort.

It fits under my pillow.

This thing is so cool. The OCL Milkman is pretty quiet with 147 subs. Not sure if it’s common but a shot timer (PACT) would not register the shots while it was on my person or on my compadre. Contemplating a light or not… I prefer my light on right side so I would require a switch but there is so little rail space I’d probably have to rig something up. I must have a KH9 covert now too.

Gigliotti Charging Handle - Holding bolt slightly open?

TL:DR : GRW Plunger Charging Handle seems to hold holt slightly rearwards and cause a lot of rattle.

So, while I wait for the connector to arrive from the absolute GOATs at B&T AG, my Giglioti Charging Handle and SST showed up. Figured I’d mess with them now just to know what to do when the spare parts show up. After watching the youtube video on how to install and uninstall, and marveling at how nice the GRW handle feels to run, I noticed my TP9 seemed more rattle when I handled the gun.

The only thing I can seem to figure out is the GRW handle might be holding the bolt back slightly compared to the factory handle. If you compare the indicated roll pins in the pictures to the sharp edge below them as the metric. I can replicate the rattle with the factory handle by pulling back on the bolt slightly.

Has anyone else experienced this? Am I missing something?

Look! This is great news! Not only does B&T Switzerland have their trademark rights back, but they have confirmed they are establishing their own operation here in the US!

Imagine having access to genuine Swiss parts and products that go through actual quality control before shipping out 🤯

Can't remove barrel assembly from lower

I have watched all available field stripping videos and I am certain I am following the instructions correctly. The barrel seems like it is glued to the lower receiver which prevents me from field stripping it. It is brand new, never been shot or messed with. Has anyone else had this problem?
