What questions should we ask the breeder before putting down a deposit ?

We would be flying to pick up our BG so wondering what questions we should make sure to ask so we don’t miss anything important.. seems like there are some medical questions specific to this breed. Thank you!!

One year ago he left me

Mojo was 16 when he went to join his littermate Dory at the rainbow bridge. I lost her a year before at 15. They were rescues that were half Brussels Griffon and half Yorkie. I got them at 6 months and they were the sweetest creatures. I loved them both very much.

Dory was the hunter. She brought me lizards (mostly alive) and other creatures mostly dead. A box turtle that could not have come into the yard except by a bird of prey dropping it was interesting. I planned to take her and leave the boys if there was a zombie apocalypse. The boys were wonderful but useless for survival!

Mojo was not supposed to even be here. I was looking for a female griff because I had two male Chinese Crested Powderpuffs and had lost my female Maltese at 15. The two puppies had been rescued from a puppy mill and taken in by a BG rescue. I fell in love with both. Mojo needed knee surgery on both knees and we bonded well over those long weeks when he couldn't run around like an idiot.

He lived 14 years with those new knees and was a wild and crazy boy. I think of him especially now because he died on my grandmother's birthday. She never met him because he came after she died. She would have loved him. He was funny and sweet.

Mo was the easiest dog I have ever lived with. Spoiled me. The Yorkie puppy I have now is all terrier and a wild thing. She is the hardest of the seven dogs to train. Much better now than before. Time

The 4th picture is his littermate Dory

Theodore crossed the Rainbow Bridge three weeks ago. He was my bestest boy for the past 16 years, and there will never be a day that goes by that I won't think about him, talk about him, miss him, grieve over him. Everyone deserves to have a Theodore. Pics are from his first day with me to his last.

What do your BGs eat ?

Hola everybody!

My BG is 8 months old and gets picky with kibble but will try to eat bugs in the backyard … make it make sense.

She also has a pretty sensitive tummy. Initially the breeder recommended Royal Canin Puppy, but then she had tummy troubles maybe from trying to lick bird poo and I switched her to Hill’s Prescription Diet ID Digestive care Puppy food

Linking both. Anyways this weekend we went to family and the kids gave her too many treats and now she has an upset stomach again. Does anybody have any other recommendations other than what I’m doing ?

Thanks in advance
