Salesforce AMTS Summer Intern 2027 (Batch of 2028)

I applied off-campus for the Summer AMTS Intern role with referral about a month ago through the portal, but I haven't received any updates, no OA link, nothing.

I see threads mentioning that OAs went out 20 days ago. Is anyone else still waiting, or does no update mean a silent rejection? My portal status is still just "In Consideration."

Is anyone else experiencing this?

IET DAVV CSBS vs. JEC Jabalpur Electrical? Need help deciding!

Hey everyone, I need quick advice on choosing between these two options:

  1. IET DAVV - Computer Science and Business Systems (CSBS)

  2. JEC Jabalpur - Electrical Engineering

I am equally comfortable aiming for private corporate jobs, government exams, or pursuing a Master's degree later.

a) Placements: Which option offers better overall packages and career security?

b) Masters Scope: Will a CSBS degree or an Electrical degree give me better options for higher studies (GATE/CAT/MS)?

c) Versatility: Which choice keeps more doors open for both private and government sectors?

Seniors, please share your honest opinions. Thanks!

Fast forward and I got 73% this year and only 88 percentile in mains first attempt. Didn’t even lock in for second attempt cuz I was mentally done atp.

Now every convo at home feels like a public execution 💀 anyone else fumbled this hard and still made it out or am I finished

Have a 1 month sem end break what to do???

So they're giving us a 1 month sem end break before our 2nd year starts and I don't wanna waste it since I don't think we'll ever get so many days off like ever. What projects or skills can I do during this time pleaseee suggest or give guidance I genuinely have no clue what to do and I'm kinda lost here? I keep seeing reels about how you're supposed to do INTERNSHIPS during this time but I think that's too much and probably not even possible considering the fact that I only know C, Python and SQL lmao and that too just the basics and no other skills whatsoever as a 1st year so what can I actually do to utilise this break?

2025 B.Tech Grad: Should I take a ₹4k/month internship in Hyd or join a Coaching Center?

I graduated in May 2025. It’s now June 2026. I’ve spent a year at home battling distractions and a lack of dedication. My skills are tutorial-based (React/Tailwind), and I’m at a crossroads.

Just got an offer from a small AI startup in Hyderabad.

Month 1: ₹0 (Learning)

Month 2-4: ₹4k

Month 5+: ₹6k

Living cost in Hyd: ₹10k/month. I’d be losing money to work. Is this "investing in myself" or just "exploitation"?

Friends are doing ₹50k "guaranteed placement" coaching classes. I feel like those are mostly fake dreams. I’d rather build real stuff, even if the pay is trash right now. Am I wrong?

I want to hit 6 LPA without grinding LeetCode/DSA. I want to be a Product Engineer.

Can I "intern-hop" after 5 months?

Does networking at Hyderabad tech events actually work for referrals?

Is the "at-home" nightmare worth escaping at any cost?

If you're a Senior Dev or Founder: What would you do in my shoes? Move for the exposure or stay home and keep applying for remote roles?

Help a junior out. Upvotes appreciated! 🚀

*Advice needed *CSBS vs CS — which is better in terms of placements and opportunities?

Seniors, can you share your experience with CSE vs CSBS?

I’m very confused between the two. I want to know about placements, coding opportunities, difficulty level, and future scope. Is CSBS considered equal to CSE in opportunities?

Is mechatronics in manipal main campus worth it?

Need all the seniors and people with any knowledge about the branch to step in for this one please help me🙏🏻.Down 4 years, is this btech degree in mechatronics worth it?? Is it very hectic or hard to manage 3 different subs(electrical mechanical and cs) compared to other branches like core mechanical, maybe cse or ai and robotics, or are the levels way higher? Also, during my research, I found out that pursuing this degree, u basically become " a jack of all trades and a master of none," and idk how I feel about this. Does india have a job market for this type of degree and personally speaking I dont really wanna go for the mechanical or electrical side of this degree I wanna land an IT realated job so does a market like that even exist for this degree? Also what kind of median placements and most importantly what kind of jobs/work can u expect after finishing this I don't really plan on a masters yet might change my mind after working a few years, for now I just want to be really clear of what I'm getting myself into. Also, on every student asking for BRANCH UPGRADES, let me ask this on behalf of everyone. Before sem3, is it realistic to think ab achieving them say i push myself will i b able to get into maybe eee or ece? Also, im pretty sure this sounds dumb but maybe Cse? Please guide me as I'm lowk clueless rn. Thank you

Good colleges for ECE in Bengaluru(or mysore) through comedk

Just finished 12th grade and was for looking for some colleges through comedk as my cet didnt go that well. I'm getting 76 in comedk . So any colleges I can get with that marks.

Rank predictors are giving different answers ranging from 15k-27k.

Ive already looked at some colleges like BMS,DSCE,BNMIT,BIT,MSRIT,RVIT,NMIT,JSS .

None of them have a clear answer on which college is the best especially for ECE in terms of placements , teaching and college life .

Would be really really helpful if I get some insights or some kind of ranking.

Please help guyZZ

Hey everyone, I got a 119k CRL rank in JEE Main and my category is EWS. Based on last year's cutoff data for BIT Mesra, I am likely to get Chemical, Civil, Biotech, or Production engineering in the final rounds. Since I don't have many other options and come from a middle-class background, I will be entirely dependent on an education loan.

I am ready to work hard at BIT Mesra and will try my absolute best to upgrade my branch after the first year. However, I am facing a financial hurdle right now. I spoke to a few seniors from BIT, and they mentioned that while I can easily get an education loan for the college, I will have to arrange and pay the first-semester fee (around ₹2.5L to ₹3L) by myself upfront.

My family is not financially strong enough to arrange this much money initially. Is there any alternative or workaround for this? If anyone has been through a similar situation or has any advice, please DM me or tell me here. I would really appreciate your help!"

Failed Chemistry in WBCHSE, got 76 percentile in JEE, confused between BSc/WBJEE/drop year — need genuine advice

Failed Chemistry in WBCHSE, got 76 percentile in JEE, confused between BSc/WBJEE/drop year — need genuine advice

Hi everyone. I really need some genuine advice because I feel completely lost right now.

I’m from West Bengal (WBCHSE board). I always wanted to do engineering and prepared for JEE, but my Class 12 results messed things up badly. I failed in Chemistry, even though my other subjects were much better.....I got 72 percentileeee and 70 percent..350 put of 500 in my boards exam .

My JEE Main percentile is around 76 percentile. I know it’s not amazing, but I genuinely wanted to continue in the engineering path and maybe prepare again seriously next year. I’m also considering WBJEE and CUET options.

Right now WBCAAP admissions have started and I’m confused about EVERYTHING:

\- whether I should take admission somewhere now

\- whether public colleges will reject me because of the Chemistry back

\- whether I should surrender/reappear for Class 12 next academic year

\- whether taking a BSc now while preparing again is smarter

\- whether private colleges are my only option now

\- which government/public colleges in West Bengal I can still realistically target

These are some of the colleges I’m currently looking into:

\- Ashutosh College

\- Bethune College

\- Vidyasagar College

\- Jaipuria College

\- Bagbazar Women’s College

\- Surendranath College

\- IIEST

\- Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University/College options

\- Ballygunge Science College related options

\- Prafulla Chandra College

\- Lady Brabourne College

\- Rashtraguru Surendranath College

\- Naihati Rishi Bankim Chandra College

\- Kalyani University

My current plan is:

\- If possible, get into a decent BSc course in one of these colleges through WBCAAP

\- At the same time continue preparing for WBJEE/JEE/CUET seriously

\- Or, if things somehow work out, get into a decent engineering college through WBJEE/CUET itself

I’m open to BSc courses because I still want to stay connected to science/tech, even if my original engineering path got disrupted for now.

Mentally this entire thing has been exhausting because I genuinely studied and had hopes, but now I feel stuck between too many risky choices.

If anyone from WBCHSE/WBJEE/JEE background has gone through something similar:

\- What would you do in my position?

\- Which colleges/courses should I realistically apply for?

\- Is taking a drop worth it here?

\- Can I still recover academically from this situation?

\- Which of the colleges above are actually worth prioritizing?

\- am i doomed

\- should i forget about Engeneering, Betch, Cse, Ece nd stuff. .

\-i always wanted to go to IIT ..is it now a untouchable dream for me.

Please be brutally honest but also practical. I really need guidance right now....

Seniors please help me, back lag gyi....

BACKSHOTS LAG GYE MERE

Just got my 1st sem result and saw that I got a back in mathematics-1. I'm scared to death. My sgpa excluding maths is just 5.52. I scored low marks in bee and cfp.

I think I should leave engineering but my parents will definitely get a heart attack if I'll ask them. I'm ready for hardwork, but im scared. I want to increase this sgpa till atleast 7. We have this minimum vriteria for internal marks (12 out of 30) and external marks (28 out of 70) making passing criteria of 40 out of 100 marks. Also, I am from a tier 4 college (local govt. college) I'm fucking cooked.

Companies start coming in college from 5th sem and they don't let people sit for the tests if they have less than 8.5 cgpa. I dont know what to do anymore.

I'd really appreciate some guidance. Please help me seniors.
