I failed in class 12th cbse, so my parents are telling me to do 3 years polytechnic (cs) then btech.................
is it a good option..if yes, what good colleges can I get after completing my diploma, and can I do btech in cse with specializations like cyber or smtg ?

what is the current scene of infosys on campus process, like how many are shortlisted from different colleges for interview? i have heard that they are brutual this time and shortlisting only 13 out of some 500 guys and things like that, is this for real chat? and after this there is this l1,l2,l3,dse tantrums,like people are getting selected for l3 and directly demoted to dse, whats the scene of everyhting ,please help people!!!!!
Today was my first day in college (tier 69) and it was the orientation. It was honestly so boring, like a school function, and I was really bored there. There are three orientation days in my college, so should I go tomorrow? Is there anything important that I might miss, or is it just going to be the same boring thing again?
Should i choose cs from umt or ce from comsat? Interest zyada software mein he ha but ce is both hardware and software so i dont know i cam do it or not etc.Also umt is near to my home.i am confused btw these 2 things cs or ce amd whetger cs umt dept or ce comsat dept good enough ik at the end of the day is me jisne jitni mehnat se skills hasil ki but still.amd ce dept comsat ka jo ha osme hardware zyada perhate ye software.Shuru se mera mind cs cyber se ka tha... idk what to choose now i only have one day to think

ECE : have intrest also i scored 100 in PU in electronics but in dayanad sagar UNIVERSITY i feel not a good option
Core CS : not a bad option but i heard from a well known person that 'the actual coding thought in colleges is replaced by AI proming so better choose cyber security so u will get deep knowledge'
CS (Cyber Security) : again not a bad opion but risky cause i wont get the liberty as i get in core cs and cant switch into the booming industry

Hey everyone, I recently cleared the Amazon HackOn OA passed all testcases on both the DSA and debugging sections(spring boot). Now I have the interview round coming up and could use some guidance from people who've been through it.
My stack/projects lean towards Spring Boot, and I'm trying to figure out:
Project depth How deep do they actually go into your tech stack and projects? Do they expect you to justify every architectural decision, or is it more surface-level "walk me through what you built"?
CS fundamentals Do they ask CN/OS/DBMS in the actual interview, or is that only tested in the OA's MCQ section?
Any general tips on what to expect LP questions, coding round difficulty, how many rounds, etc.
Would really appreciate insights from anyone who's gone through interview pipeline recently. Thanks in advance!
Now I'm in my third year in tier 2 IIT in CSE
I got shortlisted for 5 interviews of big companies but got rejected for all, some are my skill issues others I don't know
I got shortlisted for this Goldman Sachs intern, I finished all 3 rounds quickly and they went very well, that was my lucky day but then I also had Salesforce interview on the same day, then GS HR asked who has Salesforce interviews so I informed them, and she told me to go
Then I ruined my Salesforce interview due to exhaustion, I didn't eat breakfast or lunch and waited for 3 hours after completing my 3 rounds at GS, and I thought I got GS and ruined interview
I heard two rejections in 1 minute
Then I lost some other interviews which was my lack of DSA
But later I'm not getting shortlisted for other companies and now there are less companies left
Atp idk what to do and I'm blindly continuing my grind, I may get the next interview or I may not even get intern

im going to be in my 2nd year of cse in a while, i know python and c programming languages (havnt covered dsa yet), i have done a few hackathons but all i could do in those hackathons was use ai and understand how the ai worked for explaining. i want to step up now and for that i need advice on what i can do next, what i can master, what all fields are there etc. help a brother out 🙏

A group of students started threatening to r*pe my mother and were already bullying me. They made a false narrative that I s*xually harassed a girl and they all mass reported me to the registrar Virender Sharma. They framed a perfect narrative that portrayed me as evil
I told my side of the story to Registrar Virender Sharma on how they threatened to rape my mother and hence I slurred at them. Instead the Registrar withdraws my admission without a proper hearing and does not even lift my calls nor reply tonny mails citing that I broke disciplinary violations.
Further the registrar alleged if I do not withdraw in my terms I will be trailed under POSCO act for s*xually Harrassing a minor girl and my fees confiscated. He made all these statements over whatsapp calls which couldnt be recorded and not provide any supporting evidence. In my end, I never made contact with minors.
So threatening to r*pe my mother isn't a disciplinary violation? Regardless of my will to speak to him, he is not lifting my calls. I hate this blatant behaviour. He must resign at any cost possible, if he protects the r*pe-mentality instigators that too being a registrar, the university is set to be doomed.
The vice-chancellor isn't intervening in this situation, he seems to be in an abroad destination as I called up his office directly.
My admission is officially cancelled on an unfair basis, my family especially my mother is facing great distress.The dignity of my mother matters more than my life. The registrar must resign or I must die.
