I had originally planned to post the attack on Naomi I just got earlier, but things happened and I'm holding it off till later some time! But anyways...

Yay! I loved making this Artfight attack, I think Valerie has a VERY pretty design and I especially had fun with this one! I'm pretty excited to draw such a prominent member of this subreddit, and yes, she's hitting the Josuke pose! I thought it suited her! :)

My next drawing is prolly going to be Naomi, again, but her adult form. I have this really nice pose in mind for her... but anyways, yay! Valerie! 🥳

Blenzer is a blender with the lower half of a spider. He’s a professional engineer, biologist and actor featuring in many iconic movies such as Click, 25 last dates, Gack and Gill, Leon, That’s my Girl, Sad Gillmore and Big Nick.

I promise you he is not evil and not working with his neglectful creator to kill his creator’s creator so he can steal his rocks and also he does NOT plan to backstab his neglectful creator…he also strangles spiders for entertainment and uses them as the test subjects for experiments. Despite being part spider, he’s not a fan of spiders

had this cooked up the moment i saw her, and artfight gave me more reason to do it!

Rosie and Chelsey have a very negative relationship and would absolutley try to kill eachother, Nyx being the tiny bit of glue holding them all together. (Nyx Please don't get this post eliminated or something, the bugs out number the mammals 2 to 1). She was in my first post but not acknowledged altho she's a lot more relevant here to might as well mention their no arthropodic friend

As I mentioned in the post title, drawing baby Naomi was HARD. I wanted to make her look at least a little bit scrungly, an example being giving her a big noggin with big ol eyes, cuz she's fresh out of the egg and really tiny compared to what her height would become as an adult (6'8" or 203.2 cm.) Then hands were especially hard since, again, they're so small.

I'll be making a story about momma eventually, hopefully soon. Just a fair warning though, that story will be a bit sad and bittersweet. I also want to draw momma holding little Naomi up and hugging her, cuz that'd be really cute.

Momma loves her children very very much, perhaps even more than she loves herself. A human mother will do anything to protect her children... and Naomi's momma isn't any different...

After that story you'll almost certainly have a profound sense of respect for her! :)

Also, you know how newborn kittens don't meow or anything, and they just sorta chirp and squeak? That's what I imagine spiderlings sound like. I also imagine them to be very clingy. As in, if you were the caretaker/guardian/parent of a group of them, they would follow you around the house chirping all the time and latch onto your leg as you walk past. I also imagine that every night as you go to bed, they'll crawl into bed with you and when you wake up, you'll have to sorta slowly shift your way out of the pile of baby spiders that has buried you. They're also a bit helpless for a while, and would rely entirely on you, but they should be able to take care of themselves, for the most part, once they grow up from being a toddler. I doubt they would ever forget you though, I'm sure they'd still love you for the rest of their lives. :)

But yeah, there'll be a story about little Naomi and her momma (and the rest of the children) to look forward to in the future. You might not be able to look at Naomi the same after reading it, however...

I couldn't decide which one I wanted to do, so I did both, and lucky me, they were friends in lore so that meant I could draw them together! :D

Or maybe I should draw Naomi again... I've been working on a sort of side project but it's Naomi as a little baby/toddler, and I'm also going to draw her mother too. Maybe I should focus on that, since Naomi seems to be what the people like, lmao.

Idk. I'll think about it.

Based on the tarántula Tliltocatl verdezi/Brachypelma verdezi! However what makes it different is that it's a were-tarántula!

We have been very curious on implementation of various stuff look at our prior posts on fursonahelp, furgonomics, and here on bug_people!

We experience DID (dissociative identity disorder), AuADHD (autism & attention deficit hyperactivity disorder), OCD (obsessive-compulsive disorder), gender dysphoria, disabled with chronic sciatica, myopia, and other many things!

We wanted to explore personal protective equipment, mobility aid, and braces. Definitely would love to see more art of sonas/alters with eyewear, braces, splints & mobility aids who are neurodivergent. Whether is literal or metaphorical.

To explain the mouth it opens similar to fortune-teller origami that goes in/out/open/shut (with top/bottom & left/right sides). This emphasizes us being DID/transgender alongside the were-tarántula aspect.

Even the fangs retract for wearing a mask on the mouth as well as a mask on the abdomen for the book lungs! The mask is based on N95 "Duckfold" mask! We are Covid cautious/realists for allowing life affirming space aligned with disability justice!

We also use Ergocane 2G and Body Braid to help us be mobile! We wanted to include those in this design. Even the glasses are like goggles (which we eventually want to help prevent ocular spread, we just have regular lenses atm).

Scratch/Rasguño is very playful, curious, instinctual! Speaks in in 3rd person often expressing feelings, describing sensory experienced in very specific detail, and loves food/naps.

Would want to eventually explore what clothes would be like! Definitely alt/punk/goth/emo style for sure!
