Double Cannon or 1 2K Which List

I’m trying to finialiaze my 2K list. I know the list are not competitive but damnit I want big block of un moveable dwarf infantry. Back in the day when you take two cannons you basically triple your threat for the price of 2. However, with dwarf cannons what they are now is it still worth it to take 2 cannons? I have two 2K lists. Which one would you run? Also an improvements are very welcome.

One Cannon 2k

Female Slayers anywhere ?

Hello everyone, I am starting a Slayer Host Army with all the GW old school metal models and i am looking for female slayer models with the same old school proportions and design langage (not fyreslayers or modern looking dwarfs). I have found a few like this one grom Victoria Miniatures but they're all out of production.

Anybody has any idea where I could find these models or similar models ? Preferably in EU if possible

WIP on a Unit of Slayers!

Not sure what the best way to run these guys are, but they're really fun to paint! I'll do something with them on the table at some point, their rules seem pretty cool.

Critique my 2k army list

I am part of a league and I've been toying with this list. One of the must beat players is a cathay player. Super hard to beat. Am I on the right track or way off base? It's turned into a grudge at this point....for funsies

Fjul-Grimnir and The Chosen Axes

Ive been mostly distracted by painting AMech allies for my Imperial Knights this week so not had much time to get any Fyreslayers done. I did manage the Underworlds warband - The Chosen Axes though.

There’s nothing fancy about them, they’re straight out of the box.

Cogforts coming to AOS, whispers regarding the return of the chaos War Mammoth… HOW ABOUT A RECKONING FELLOW BRAVE DAWI? GIVE US WHAT WE ARE OWED. GIVE US OUR THUNDERBARGE

GW certainly can pull it off in terms of scale! Cathay have their huge sky lanterns, they have the right mindset to transfer the cogfort over to tabletop

I dunno guys, I’ve got a feeling… the thunderbarge is too much of a good thing to pass up!

What symbols would you engrave on custom dice?

I like collecting matching dice for my armies. I have the slayer cult symbol on some red dice for my Karak Kadrin army, and recently ordered a custom set for my Lustrian Dwarfs.

That got me thinking, what other cool symbols could be used.

That all said, what would you put on a custom set of dice?

Dwarf Miners of Karak Hirn

Just finished my first tabletop miniatures! Played TW Warhammer for a while and only recently got interested in tabletop miniatures. I’m gonna go for a Dwarf Army of Karak Hirn since I like the lore and color theme. Decided to paint Dwarf Miners first and Dwarf Warriors will be next.

What do you guys think? Any feedback or advice would be great since I wanna do a better job with the Dwarf Warriors next.

My Thorgrim Ullekson conversion is finished!

Took some inspiration from other posts on here. Made entirely from a Thane Kit, using the King kit Grudgestone as the base

The Dwarf Stronghold, nestled in the snowy Wheldhyal Mountains. (LEGO Fan Design Competition, please vote!)

I designed this for the Bricklink Designer Program Series 11. It is inspired by Dwarf lore an aesthetics from multiple fantasy books, games and movies. I've loved all things LotR and Hobbit, the Elder Scrolls games, and have played Warhammer Fantasy/TOW since 6th edition. I'm sure you can see the influences in the build. If it gets enough votes LEGO will make it into a real set. Please lend me your hammer and axe, and vote for it here: https://www.bricklink.com/v3/designer-program/series-11/4635/Dwarf-Stronghold

Starting dwarves 20 years late

Hey Short Kings,

I remember being an 11-ish year old boy when my dad got me Battle for Skull Pass. My brother had the goblins, and I had the dwarves. I never really done anything with them and over the years swiftly forgot about them and started collecting Tyranids for 40k, which has evolved into my main hobby.

Imagine my surprise when my dad comes over and gives me 20 year old dwarves, built and primed from decades ago. I'd been thinking about getting into Warhammer the old world playing our short lads, so this seems like a sign!

There's also a still sealed metal anvil of doom in the old brown packaging!

What would be your go to first buy to bulk out these fellas? I feel like the battalion would round out my troop needs? What are some of your favourite units and tactics? Really any advice at all will help. Thanks in advance!

Norscan Halls - Fanmade Arcane Journal

I asked last week about peoples thoughts on potential rules for Norse Dwarfs to no interest but that has not put me off. I started drafting up an Arcane Journal for our cousins in the north.

I am really aiming for feel and flavour. What I have seen from most arcane journals is limited scope in army composition, around 3 special rules for the army, and a new unit.

The army wide special rules are heavily inspired by Royal Clan.

The beserkers I really wanted to differentiate from Slayers so went Skirmishers. I took the Battle Packs rule from the 6th Ed Beastmen which I felt had the right vibe.

Then some Norscan Runes for fun. The Master Tattoo is designed in my head to make a Skirmishing Hammerer/Longbeard Unit

Some Old Hammerers to Accompany the Lord!

Got super lucky and picked up a lot of old dwarf minis years ago. Forgot I had these guys and wanted to paint them up! Had a lot of fun, I really like these old models.

Question, are the pegs on their backs meant for shields? I have the old ironbreakers too, and their shields seem to fit there, but wasn't sure if thay was their purpose.
