I’m doing my solo trip to Korea for 10 days. I had 2 days in Busan and I kinda bored and don’t have anything on mind. Can anyone hook me up with something to do. If you wanna join I’m happy too.
M23/24. As it is vacation now, i cannot enjoy korea much. Need some people to travel around busan and visiting cafe and bars. I am kind of extroverted person but prefer non crowded places. If anyone is willing to join please leave a comment. Thank you :)
This hat was found in Gijang-gun, Busan, South Korea.
Judging by the handwritten inscription “CPE 2026” on the hat, it appears to be related to “Clinical Pastoral Education,” and the owner's name seems to be “Daniel.”
Based on the words written on the hat, the owner is likely associated with military chaplains, hospital chaplains, or pastoral care ministries.
Please also take note of the other names written on the hat, such as "Bishop Tirona", "Jose Espada", "Castillo", "Stephanie", and "Sr. Shirley".
For any further details, please refer to the photo.
If anyone happens to know the owner or someone who might be connected to them, please contact them and ask if they would like to retrieve this item.
* Please understand that my replies may be slightly delayed, as I do not check Reddit very often.
Hello! I’m wondering if anybody knows, or heard, anything about the Pokémon Mega Festa happening in Busan this weekend?😃
I’m a fan of Pokémon and would like to visit but I haven’t been able to find much information about it. I know they will be holding a sort of stamp even like they did last time. I guess my main question is I’m wondering if there will also be some merch available?
Looking for Gugak ♪♫♬
Hello!
I've been in Busan, studying the Korean language since November. To be honest, I still don't speak it very well... but I try. In July, my language class will be participating in stamp-making--like a name stamp. Instead of making a stamp with my English name, I'm interested in making one with a Korean name.
But, I don't want to just choose a name at random, that makes no sense. I know that Korean people will sometimes go to 사주 services to rename themselves, and this is something I am interested in for myself. I know that there are a lot of 사주 services in Busan, and have been looking for months to find one that advertises services in English, but never found one.
Could anyone help me to find someone who may be willing to interpret for me at one of these consultations? Right now, I only know one person who is comfortable enough with both languages, and they are not available for it.
Also, it is really just the renaming service that I am interested in--so, I would think that would be easier to interpret than a full fortune telling or Tarot service. :) I hope so, anyway.
Please let me know if you or someone you know would be interested in helping me! I could buy you lunch, or we could negotiate cash compensation. Thank you!
Hello, I'm an American and will in Busan for a few days. My Android phone is broken and I'd like to find an unlocked phone for cheap to get me through the rest of my trip. Preferably near Yeongdo or Nampo.
Is it common to find unlocked phones that work internationally? I AT&T network.
Thanks :)
My husband seems to have gotten food poisoning (possibly from eating gaejang last night). So far he just threw up once and has a fever. It doesn’t seem like he needs to go to an ER, but maybe it would be good to get checked out if he gets worse? We are staying at Haeundae beach right now - any suggestions on where to go, where they speak English?
Has anybody else noticed a strong shift in the vibe of Haeundae over the past few years?
I feel as though this change can be observed on Gunam-ro. Many long-standing businesses on the street have been replaced with more "upscale" eatablishments. Two obvious examples come to mind for me.
Thursday Party, which relocated to a smaller location off the main strip.
Fuzzy Navel, which went through an upscale rebrand before quickly being replaced by Blue Elephant after nearly two decades of successful operation.
Does anybody have insight into why these shifts are occuring? Is the image of Haeundae being guided towards these kinds of changes, or do you think these are just effects of the market & highly competitive rental costs in the area?
안녕하세요
I am an american lady 26, relatively fit and I will be in Busan for 1 month in August-September.
Can someone please recommend affordable beginner surf lessons, can be individual or group.
Something Under $35/hr maybe? I plan to take a lesson 2x per week
I will only have a one piece bathing suit and will have to rent/borrow all other equipment.
One thing may be a problem, I am 5'6" 190lbs, very muscular but slightly overweight.
Please let me know if you have recommendations or suggestions for my adventures!
감사합니다
