Ive never gotten a buzzcut before and im worried im seeing too much scalp. My hair is dark and pointing almost straight up but i still just can’t tell. Thoughts

(19FTM) Glow up or glow down? Advice welcome!
Last pic is my old cut, first three are what I did last night! I’ve gotten a few different reactions and if anybody has any advice, I’d welcome the tip! I personally really like it, but I also don’t necessarily know that it matches my vibe, lol.
Added thing I’m willing to take advice for if you guys are willing: do y’all think I should dye it gray/black? I’ve been thinking about it!

clipper sets
Hello again. Made a post yesterday regarding whether to buzz my hair at home or a barber. Was directed towards Wahl brand clippers for at home barbering. Should I buy just the one clipper set with the guards (pic 1) for $45 or the two clippers set with more guards for $87 (second pic)? Is it worth it to buy the more expensive set or would the first one be sufficient? The second set has more guards, but the first one still looks like plenty. I’m not planning on doing anything crazy the first time I cut, just a simple buzz most likely. But if I decide to try and experiment more over time, is it worth it/ “necessary” to splurge? I’m new to all this so I feel clueless and want to make the right decision. TIA!

buzzing at home vs a barber
Hey everyone. I’ve been growing my hair for a while, and it’s about to my shoulders. I’m thinking of cutting it. I want to save a little money, and thought that I should just cut it myself. I have minimal experience cutting hair, so I think a buzzcut would be the easiest thing to do. My question is, if I’m just buzzing my hair do I NEED to go to a barber for it to turn out alright? Or could I do it at home, maybe with the help of someone else (or even a tutorial online lol).
