My Queen of the Night ( Dragon fruit flower)- It took months of waiting, but this stunning one-night-only bloom made it all worth it.

This is a Dragon Fruit flower (often called a Night-Blooming Cereus), and it genuinely blew me away with how massive it is in person. The crazy part is that these blossoms only open for one single night. If it successfully gets pollinated, this exact spot will turn into an actual delicious Dragon fruit.

4 blooms on the 4th 🎇

Nice surprise as it’s been so hot most of my cacs haven’t bloomed recently. This guy is like a flower factory

I'm so happy

The first two are from Monday. The other three is from today.

I've dealt with thrips, mealybugs and spidermites infestations in the past month. But this angel is making me think that all of that is worth it. She opens her flower at morning and closes it at afternoon. For six days now. She's so cute and pretty and makes me so happy.

Last night was awesome 🤩

This is the last of my post of this flower. As some of you might know, last night was my first time witnessing a tricho flower open up in full bloom in front of me and it was quite the experience I'm hooked once again and so intrigued by this beautiful flower and cactus. I cannot imagine how it would be to have a big garden blooming All around me simultaneously or throughout the season. I am on my way there though🙏

My cactus is blossoming

This cactus has been with us minimum 15 years but its first time they blossom I didn’t even know its kind. We dont really watered them and cared them i remember when its only 1 root but over years its growing on its own. What’s its kind and how can i do to prune this thing. İts growing to down floor balcony. İf it falls it can hurt someone.

It's all happening

Super excited to watch my first bloom in person. I was already hooked but the cactus got me again. This passion/hobby just keeps on snowballing. 😁
