Is anyone else having an issue when trying to submit their online application for student funding (full time)?
For program start/ end date, it'll say it has to be within the same year, but keeps showing an error even when you put dates within the same year, and won't let me submit.
Also trying to call them is insane, on hold for hours!

I’m planning to apply to the PN2BSN program at Camosun. I have a few questions regarding admission/the program, and I’m hoping someone on here will be able to help. Firstly, how long did it take to find out if you got accepted into the program? For those of you who got accepted, did you have a particularly high GPA? I guess I’m wondering if I should retake my English 12 or Biology 12 to increase my chances of getting accepted. It seems like the program has fairly minimal admission requirements, and I’m wondering if there is anything specific I can do to increase my chances of getting accepted into the 2027 intake.

I was on the library catalogue last night trying to find a record with little success. The search used to work well, now it does not.
While there, I noticed a statement that said to “decolonize the library catalogue” Camosun College will be censoring information.
History indicates that the censoring of words, information, history, cultures, and books is a precursor to a Facist society.
Facism has taken over the United States. If you disagree with that statement, please look up the definition of ‘Facism’, view the characteristics, and compare that to what you see occurring in the United States.
Due to our proximity to the United States, we are at risk too. It may already be happening as indicated by LIBRARIES censoring information.
Why was this approved?
Why is Camosun College okay with this?
This is not acceptable or okay and needs to be ceased immediately.
The statement said that they consulted marginalized groups who want this.
Have the Elders of Indigenous Communities been consulted about this initiative? Have the Indigenous Communities been consulted?
Why is this happening? This to me, is terrifying.
Information is the most important thing to a society and civilization. Why is it being censored by an educational institution of all places?
Has anyone considered the significant consequences of this initiative?

Hi! I was just accepted into the Camosun BSN program and accepted my offer. I’m wondering what happens next because so far, the only thing I’ve received is my offer of admission.
For anyone who has recently been accepted, what information/documents were you sent after accepting your offer? Did you receive anything about registering for courses, your schedule, orientation, nursing requirements, etc.?
Also, do nursing students choose their own courses and schedule, or is it mostly arranged for you?
Just trying to figure out if I should be doing anything right now or if I’m just waiting for more information.
