Picked up my Prime NC today and I’m having trouble with the included holster. Now I know it’s not the best holster, but I really expected it to at least be functional. There’s absolutely no retention and the screws are tightened as tight as they could go. Did anybody else experience this with their prime?
Finally got the threaded barrel the Holosun sight and a mini light to finish gonna get it cerakoted and maybe change the trigger I’m not sure
Meet Frank! My Frankenstein MC9LS.. I have a thing about piecing toy guns to suit my needs.
I received my Prime frame today and quickly added the Mc9LS slide, threaded barrel and full size backstrap. With the Osight SE, it’ll be a great carry option along side my Prime and I’ll be able to run suppressed if the need arises.
To those of you who have the prime radian I want to know your opinion, are the irons good enough that they are not worth picking up an optic ?
1000 rounds and just tested defense ammo. She really likes Federal HST 124gr. Flatest shooting out the box I own. That trigger is chef's kiss.
I want to order a Streamlight light (possibly the TLR-8 light/laser combo) for my new Prime Radian but I don’t know whether a standard TLR-7 or TLR-8 will fit properly on that short rail OR whether I need to get the “Sub” (i.e. “TLR-8HL-X Sub”) variant of one of those lights? Does anyone know for sure or have some personal experience??

Happy to get a hold of this bad boy, I threw on a EPS carry now, I am trying to figure out if I want to carry with a light. I tested a streamlight tlr7 sub and olight PL X. Olight looks better, I think it’s a winner in functionality as well. So the question is for EDC purposes…. Light or no light?
Put my first 100 rounds through Saturday, going for 300 before I start adding attachments

Vortex defender ccw
TLR sub7 or olight plx
I know my iwb manufacturer
I just need baseplates
I try to clean after every range trip but sometimes find myself cleaning after 2 or 3 trips.

So now I need help what optic and light to put on this
Maybe I won’t put a light we’ll see
But definitely an optic should I go open or enclosed?

Some notes:
The ramjet is shaped different than the ramjet on my Glock 19 and sig p365. I am less fearful of press checking or racking from the front serrations because it doesn’t have those sharp “batwing” teeth on the front.
This one seems louder than the others and it’s fairly noticeable.
It’s stupidly accurate and the trigger feels great. I ran 200 rounds through it no problems. The mag release definitely has a break in period.
Optic wise put on a vortex defender enclosed CCW and switched it to a holosun eps carry because the eps carry housing is smaller, the deck height is lower, and it allows me to cowitness my irons in case of any mechanical problems. The vortex defender enclosed ccw has a bigger sight window but also prints more wheb carry AIWB.
Light wise the streamlight tlr 7x sub with the #3 plate fits perfect. I went with streamlight over olight because I am a big fan of these weapon lights and if it ain’t broke don’t fix it.
Holster wise options are limited, you have qvo tactical and Tulster. The holster it comes with is flimsy and not worth carrying. I went with Tulster arc series after being pretty loyal to tier 1 and tenicor. When better options start showing up I may switch but the Tulster is comfortable and the retention is excellent and I don’t see a reason to be in a rush to get anything else.
All in all this gun is my new edc and it feels great for a polymer striker fired handguns I liked the mete prime and with all of the radian upgrades this gun is well worth the money. The 17+1 capacity is an added bonus. I want after market aluminum base plates to drop mags quicker if anyone knows who’s making them drop me a line.

Hey folks I picked up this Canik mete mc9 prime at a gun show yesterday and was looking online to see if I could find a color ID on the slide when I realized the color way I have it’s not available.
My only thoughts are they were mixed with another mc9 prime or are aftermarket.
Anyone have any ideas?
