Binksternet is deleting sections of Raga pages on Wikipedia

I found that Binksternet deleted sections of kalyani raga page that classified film songs and other compositions to that raga. I undid his changes and asked for his reasons, apparently those classifications violated policy as they were not referenced… clearly some non expert is now erasing lots of hard work the community has put in…
He has reverted my changes few times and it got escalated to edit wars. You can see the comments below.

Thoughts?

Wearing black on stage does it actually have a particular meaning?

I’ve been getting some mixed opinions about wearing black when performing on stage, particularly for Carnatic concerts and especially in Chennai.

Some people have told me that wearing black can be interpreted as showing support for the DMK, while others have said that during the Sabarimala season it’s completely normal because devotees commonly wear black.

Personally, I don’t attach any political or religious meaning to it I just genuinely like wearing black and think it looks good on stage.

I’m curious what others, especially performers and rasikas, think about this. Is there actually a cultural or political association with wearing black on the Carnatic stage? Would you avoid it, or is this something people generally don’t care about anymore?

Would love to hear different perspectives!
