Went over a pot hole and got my motor mounts replaced and strut mounts replaced. Yet, this sound is still present. any recommendations or what it could be? thanks

The bubbling isn’t new but the clicking sound started yesterday while I was driving. I’ve checked coolant levels and that’s fine. She drives like normal. So if anyone has any suggestions as to what this sound is, all help is appreciated!!

Some context:

2003 Mustang GT with Automatic Transmission. 31k miles. 30k mile service was done around 27k.

I ended up jacking the car up from the differential and taking the wheels off to spin the hubs to hear any scraping from the diff or wheel bearings and everything seemed fine. I did notice an ever so slight rub of the brake pads on the rotor when spinning the hubs and the pads were looking on the thinner side but nothing too crazy.

The only time i hear the sound is at low speeds like in parking lots and the sound only happens when the back wheels are unevenly loaded like while I’m turning around a corner or if the ground was not level. I don’t hear the scraping sound when driving in highway speeds.

Any ideas?

My 2021 RAV4 has been making this loud noise for the last couple of weeks. I haven’t noticed any issues with it while driving and I really only notice the noise when I first start my engine. Anyone have any clue what it could be? I took it to a mechanic and he said he’s never heard this noise before.

Louder at idle. When driving it seems to go away.

I took it to the mechanic earlier and when o got in the car to leave that’s when I noticed the dash they weren’t on before . But I took it bc I thought something was dragging . But all I was told was bad transmission didn’t tell me if the fluid was low or what but he added 2 small bottles to it .

Can anyone identify what this noise is? Sounds like it’s coming from the engine. Ofcourse when I take it to Acura dealership, they never hear the problem.

I know there are some solutions to the wind whistling noise problem, but I wanted to share what worked for me.

I had some sound damping foam leftovers from my car’s loudspeaker upgrade, and I got curious if stuffing the space between the plastic on the left and the loose rubber on the right could help with the loud wind whistling noise on my car. I stuffed the upper part more than the middle or lower part, and not too deep. I bet that if I did a better job it could be even better, but to be honest, I am really happy with the result and wanted to share it with you.

Driving at 80km/h there is no whistling noise, and at 130km/h the whistling noise is there, but it is really quiet.

I hope that this information can be of use to someone.

So on August 9th i removed a stone from Tyre tread picture attached, and on wednesday 12th took to vauxhall for a recall, as i was on the way the TPMS Light came on, i told them and they did their free health check and readjusted pressures and passed the car with no issues.

since then i have driven 35 miles in the car (i have a works van) and had no TPMS lights come on, am i right in saying it was just a superfical mark and am all good for a long drive in a few days?

(side note i rung kwikfit and explained the same and they suggests its a superficial mark due to heat of stone hitting road)

is there a chance they didnt see it, i looked yesterday at majority of tyre apart from part that was rested on the road - car is 25 plate (driven just 3500 miles) am i just worrying and all okay or is there something im missing?

It’s bothering me, it appears when it’s warm outside, after driving for about 10 minutes. It’s specially noticeable when parking. At first I thought it was maybe the steering rack that was missing sone lubrication ; so I added grease to the steering rack but it didn’t help. I also sprayed silicon lube on the steering column and it didn’t help either.

So the car is a 2004 Pontiac grand am with the 3.4L v6 and when I bought the car about a 2 months ago this noise was apparent but not as loud and it’s gotten louder and developed some click when the rpm’s drop so I know I need to fix it asap my first guess was the idler pulleys and when I went to check them there wasn’t any play in them but I’m hoping it isn’t the tensioner

I do plan on fixing my self so any help would be appreciated

My girlfriend just bought a 2017 vw polo manual 1.2 petrol with only 28k miles its only had 2 services one at 5k and one at 27k I'm waiting to hear back from the dealership if the cambelt has been done im not holding out hope though and know we probably we need to do it as its past the 5 year point. Should I be concerned by the noise on startup or is it completely normal? Is that the belt? Is it ok to keep driving till we get it sorted? Would only a couple miles a day for the time being as shes still learning. This video was also first startup in like 2-3 weeks as we'd been away

What is this sound? The car brake system shuts down and forces you to park.

I went too fast over a speed bump and immediately after i heard a lot of clunking noises and this came off the underside of the car. It seems to be a thick metal pipe with a rubber filling inside. It's very dense and heavy. The car seems to be running fine after it came off, but is this something i should be concerned about?

I drive a 2003 Lancer oz rally if that helps.

Need help for my 2018 Mazda 6 2.5L Na. It’s Sunday today and last time I drove was Friday night and it drove fine. The battery seems fine and sounds like it wants to spark but nothings happening.
Can anyone help me?

Hey guys, my car makes a couple of odd noises every cold start. video attached so you can hear exactly what I mean.

Exhaust: Installed an aftermarket borla exhaust I bought off Facebook Marketplace, but I can’t match it to anything on Borla’s actual website, so not sure what it really is. Ran fine for the first few weeks, but now it makes noise only on cold start. The exhaust is two pieces bolted together, so maybe something there was loose? It was tricky trying to bolt them all up evenly when i installed it. Planning to retighten everything, but wanted to see if that sounds like the right call or if I’m missing something.

Front-end squeak: Also cold-start only, comes from the front of the car. Already ruled out idler pulley, bearing, tensioner, and both belts (all replaced recently), squeak is still there. You can also here this in the video. Goes away after a few minutes.

Any input on either issue is appreciated, happy to answer questions.
