Finished up my first rag quilt and I honestly am not the happiest with how the fabrics meshed together. I bought a layer cake online so I only got to see a few of the patterns included. But alas! My assistant loves it and that’s all that matters 🫶🏻

Maggie was rescued from the roadside - she shows her gratitude by striving to be the world's best pattern weight.

I did not place her in my lap when I was hand quilting (😭😭) ... she climbed up and then proceeded to have her paw on my hand while I quilted!

She's bigger now (and doesn't really fit it my lap anymore 😭) but her new thing is sleeping in my lap while I piece on the machine.

Made my cats a couple of mats to go over their heating pads. Good way to practice curves and FMQ (and other things I need practice with) b/c they don’t care if I messed up 😸

Toast decided I was too focused on my quilt top.

as you can see, he is a very good helper. he just wants to put a little extra love into Grammy’s quilt!

I moved the quilt from the bedroom to the living room a bit ago. He found it.

She’s clearly a master of camouflage. I walked right past her a few times.
