Description:
OTadle is a set of six free daily puzzles, each fully playable in French, English and Arabic.
- Order and Chaos — find the secret word by hunting through the dictionary alphabetically. Every guess tells you whether the answer comes earlier or later, and how many alphabetical positions away it is.
- MasterWord — find the five-letter word, but you never see which letters are right. Each guess returns only two numbers: how many letters are correctly placed, and how many belong to the word but sit elsewhere.
- Numdle — find the five-digit number with per-digit colour feedback: green for the right digit in the right place, yellow for right digit wrong place. Leading zeros count, so 01234 and 12340 are different answers.
- MasterCode — same five-digit format, opposite clues. Digits may repeat, and you get only the two counters, never which digit produced them.
- MasterCard — find a secret sequence of five cards hidden among a face-up deck of ten. Order matters, and you only get the two counters back.
- Cardle — find five cards in the right order out of a twenty-card deck. Clues land on the deck itself: correctly placed cards lock in place, eliminated cards flip over and can't be picked again.
One thing that sets it apart from most daily games: you can't lose. There's no attempt limit and no fail screen — you keep guessing until you find the solution. I wanted something you could come back to over a coffee without the pressure of burning your last try.
A new puzzle for each game every day, and you can go back and play previous days.
Feedback I'd find most useful:
- Which of the six did you actually want to keep playing?
- Does the unlimited-attempts approach feel relaxing, or does it remove the tension for you? Genuinely torn on this one.
- Anything broken on mobile.
