Nichols & Stone Rocking Chair

I picked this up for $25 at Salvation Army yesterday. I am curious if anyone here knows anything about it as Google searches have only turned up dining chairs in this style (no rockers). From what I could find out, it is possibly from the 1915-1930 era.

Any information welcomed

My husband thrifted this chair for $25 at our local Salvation Army. I cannot find any identifying markers and am hopeful someone out there could point me in the right direction on the maker and year. I am obsessed and so grateful that no one else wanted it as I had to convince him I could fit it in our house for two weeks! Any cleaning tips also greatly appreciated. I’m unsure if this is its original upholstery but it does need to be cleaned as it looked to be stored for a while.

HELP!! what style of chair should i choose, i am lost!!!

For a bit of context my parents bought a house and they asked me to help them decorate their dining area as it is the most important part of the house to them, they love hosting people over for meal and just gathering.

They already decided on a table, they went with the MÖRBYLÅNGA 86" dining table and they want help styling it. we ordered set of 2 chair that is 33" of height and 18" length to check how it looks but something about it is off, it appears shorter and if i go any taller in height it will get out of the style we was aiming for which is minimal, transitional house with a touch of modern look.

Medical Break through vs Osaki, which massage chair feels good for daily use?

Hey guys my search narrows down to Medical Breakthrough and Osaki after a week of online research, both seem to check a lot of the same boxes in similarity,. first i'll say I'm interested in how they feel after months or yrs of regular use rather than the first 15 minutes in a showroom.

i have like 4k usd budget. If you've spent time with either, was there anything that stood out day to day, thanks .

Heywood-Wakefield chair, Can anyone tell me more information about it?

Can’t find anything about it on internet. Has stamp on bottom that says Cinnamon and another that appears to be C1498D. Rocking mechanism on bottom may have been modified or replaced at some point.

Rocking chair/ glider recommendations

Looking for recommendations for a rocker/glider for my first baby. I’ve scoured this page and have seen other recs, but I’m looking for some specific things.

Husband is over 6 feet so, preferably one that goes higher than his neck. Also looking for arm rest padding. My parents are buying it for me and I would like to keep the price relatively low, no more than $350 ish area. I live in the south so plush fabric plz 😌

Need Chair Recommendations - Specific details on what I’m looking for below

Okay I’m 5’10 and about 100lbs. Located in the US. Budget for a chair is not a problem, Im willing to spend whatever it takes to be comfortable working. I work a 9-5 from my home office and I get up about every 2-3 hours and go for at least a 10 minute walk. My butt HURTS. Constantly. I’ve tried putting all sorts of seat cushions on my current chair (the contoured ones, gel ones, the ones that are like purple mattresses) and nothing works. I need recommendations for the biggest, fluffiest, softest chairs that are going to work for me. The issue I run into is that I don’t weigh anything so I don’t sink in to chairs, so none of the hard padding that’s meant to last actually helps me. Office chairs are generally rigid because of the use they get, but I’ve had my current chair for 3+ years and the cushion still isn’t broken in at all. Other people sit on it and say it’s fine it just feels brand new but they also sink in to the cushion. I dont. HELP!!!

Anyone know the maker of these chairs?

My sister owns these chairs. Suspect they might be Danish but can’t find any makers mark…
