How do I communicate my husband and I are still important
Childless not by choice. My husbands siblings all have kids (or are about to).
I have noticed the shift. We are no longer as important. We are no longer considered. We are just there.
I don’t want to let this fester and I want to give my in laws the benefit of the doubt that they don’t realize it.
How do I communicate it? My thought was to tell them I am afraid that moving forward we are an afterthought. That we don’t get the same considerations for holidays and celebrations. I don’t want them to treat us as less important. Because we are not.
I am terrified to have the convo. Please help.
