The Sarah Walker trust conundrum

Just another point of Sarah not really trusting Chuck wholeheartedly, in this episode (#20 of Season 4, vs the Family Volkoff). Man, she says something roughly like "its because of something I kept in case my dad geta arrested again". And her shocked expression when her fiance just signs it.

How could she be surprised?

Her lover is the BuyMore dude, who mind you makes roughly $11 an hour, yet never found a reason to steal money. Heck in Episode 10 alone of Season 2, Chuck showed he does not really care about money like that in 2 situations:

  1. He was willing to lend Morgan $2,000 plus bucks, basically the entirety of his savings, as shown in that episode

  2. He was not thrilled to see $10 million in his bank account in the same episode

Did she really think Chuck would stoop to stealing her money?

Heck, dude got paid in the end of Seaspn 2 and his first thought of how to spemd it is on his sister's wedding! And Sarah was specifically thrilled at that!

Chuck's distrust of Sarah in Season 5.

There's topic i notice no one discusses, it's been left in the shadows, but i think it's very important and worth a little discussion. In the episode "Chuck vs Sarah", Chuck sensed that she was deceiving him.

Everyone always says that Chuck didn't change even after he became a spy, his nature was basically always the same, but he changed a little, and that episode showed him that he had involuntarily assimilated the distrust of a spy. When Chuck saw the sunglasses in Sarah's bag, he sensed she was trying to deceive him. The Chuck of the first seasons would have made the mistake of asking Sarah for an explanation, trying to talk to her after seeing those sunglasses. Sarah, realizing her deception had been discovered, would have killed him. Instead, Chuck chose to be practical, remaining silent, waiting to see how the situation would unfold, observing Sarah and distrusting her.

When he and Sarah met, she had the power to manipulate him because Chuck was naive, but after 5 years of working as a spy he had become more mature, now instinctively he began to perceive Sarah's lies, the confirmation that he had partly changed and that his relationship with Sarah was more equal.

Casey Killing Chuck

I don't like how Beckman ordering Casey to kill Chuck never came to light.

I don't know if I'd want Chuck to have found out, because then, how could he ever trust either of them again? And it would have ruined the show.

But I, at least, would have liked something from Casey, or even Beckman, expressing relief that they never went through with the execution. Like even a throwaway line from, Casey. He could have easily said, "bartowski. I'm glad I didn't kill you."

Chuck would think of it as just an off remark. But the audience would know that Casey was being serious.

Chuck Vs The Lost Media

They don't make websites like this anymore.

I think there's a certain charm to this aesthetic.

I wish NBC had kept this content online.

Deleted scene that could've made it to final cut

I know there is a reason why deleted scene doesn't make it to final cut but man this scene could've been great. I mean Johnny boy looks so proud of Sarah when she meets Jill.

Scene- Jill meets Sarah for first time.
