The Cirque du Soleil show Luzia from yesterday Wednesday, October 7th, suffered a minor mishap after intermission. The smoke machine went out of control and spewed smoke in the entire area, causing some people to cough and gasp for air, leaving their seats in a panic. The show was interrupted for 30 minutes while the smoke machine was turned off and the air cleared.

We're working with the team behind a winter revue in Bad Nauheim, Germany, and have been getting a glimpse into the preparations.

It's fascinating how much strength, timing and precision go into making these performances look so effortless on stage.

For the circus performers and enthusiasts here: What makes an act truly memorable for you? Is it the technical skill, the creativity, or the way a performer connects with the audience?

This morning as I typically do I went on the Cirque du Soleil website to see that they finally announced on October 20 we get more details on the New Big Top Show !!!!

Calling all U.S. Cirque fans! 🎪🇺🇸 The time has finally come and seems like there will be a Big Top in the States for 2027… LUZIA in San Diego!

Since the first time I watched the documentary about Alegria's creation, "The Truth of Illusion", there's a character I have never been able to recognize at all.

It resembles one of the old nostalgic birds but with a lot more "birdy" look, its beak is way more prominent.

I know that it's not the bird from the fire dance act too.

Have you any idea of what it could have been because I know that the first version of the show was completely different from the more polished one that toured until 2013.

Thanks !
