I got CSE(core)of NIE mysore at 12.5k rank in round 3 . Is it W or L becz some news are spreading regarding NIE affiliation of VTU , so becz of that I am little bit tensed.if i upgrade in R3 will I get JSSTU CSE core in round 4

Also i don't know how many comfort factors y'all want well knowing all comedk colleges except RVCE are T2.
There is nothing perfect at all, you guys will have to compromise on many things.

NIE out of nowhere gained popularity this year
BIT is getting down shamed for placement stats
RVITM comes with a fear of decentralised placements with RVCE
BMSIT's intake and location is concerning for few people
DSCE got issues with placement due to DSU
god knows what's perfect but please be wise, y'all are gonna spend 20-23L.
I’m in a big problem pls someone help out , actually I have 74x rank in comedk so I thought I wouldn’t get rvce cse spec this year since the cutoffs r tight. So basically I joined a nit and have even started attending classes. Now since today R3 results of comedk r out so I guess I will be getting rvce cs data sci . So I want to leave the nit and go to rvce. So is it possible now someone pls tell😭😭🙏

this guy posted today about the nie affiliation thing and many students started panicking but when i stared digging i found smthing very fishy
in the second slide he gave a review of mysore colleges as a senior and told everybody about these colleges and i was also one of them who took advice from him
but in the third slide he posted about the result being out and which is sus coz why does a senior so excited about the results????
in last slide woh delay ke baare me baat kr rha hai, this solidifies ki ye koi senior nhi hai, he's a fellow aspirant
at the end please dont trust anybody you see here, many people try to reduce competition by spreading fake things
I have heard that if a person goes through round 4 he/she would miss the orientation and some classes too

If any of you have better options through state counselling,csab or any other spot rounds then backoff and the accept the seat.
There is disappointments coming after round 4 and if u dont wanna regret better backoff.

I got RNSIT data science and my expectation was at least RNSIT cse in R3 according to previous year cutoff
RNSIT Data science R3 2025 cutoff was 32k
And I got same in R3 2026 at 25.7k rank.
Itna difference 🥲

I currently have Global Academy of Technology, but I'm really hoping for BNMIT or Sir MVIT.
The confusing part: BNMIT & Sir MVIT show 0 vacant seats after Round 3.
But in 2025, BNMIT also showed 0 vacancies after R3, yet Round 4 cutoffs moved a LOT — CSE/ISE/AI-related branches went into the ~37–46k range.
This year BNMIT CSE R3 cutoff is ~22k.
So realistically, do I still have a good chance of getting BNMIT/Sir MVIT in a CS-related branch in Round 4?
Would love opinions from people who understand COMEDK seat movement. 🙏

I got alloted CSE in DSATM, what do I do, I'm not satisfied w the college, I was relying on last year's r3 cutoff at 30k and thought I'd get RNSIT
But ts year's ai ml in rnsit only went upto 25k in r3

It'll help a lot of us cross-check this year's actual cutoffs, and it'll genuinely help next year's aspirants too since official cutoff data takes forever to show up anywhere useful.
