How would you even begin to describe the Mr. On Blast character to someone who had never seen it?

He is so odd to me because I find his vibe completely coherent and precise but impossible to pin down. He is familiar but I can't place him. what real world [or even fictional] types of guy is he based on / inspired by? hacky club comics of another era? bar mitzvah emcees? what reference points would you use to explain his whole deal?

Finally got AMC+ so you know what time it is

Somehow I never watched the TV show when it was originally airing. I think I saw clips but it was during a time where my family was struggling and couldn't afford cable so it just slipped by. Time to fix that now! TSK-TSK

I have a really good idea: a Widow's Bay episode of CBB

The new Apple TV* show Widow's Bay whips major ass and there's lots of friends of CBB involved.

  • A-block guest: Creator/show-runner Katie Dippold (aka Dr. Yvette Victor from CBB ep 738)
  • Neil Casey is a writer & actor on the show (aka Earl Bixby from ep 291)
  • Colton Dunn is I think a writer & producer (aka cool astronaut Devon Westinghouse from ep 586)
  • CBB All-Stars Tim Baltz and Connor Ratliff also both pop up as characters on WB

I really want to hear Katie talk more about the show. And that's a lot of good options for guests, maybe bring back some of those obscure one-off characs?? Anyway, putting this out in the world so maybe something cool will happen.
