Omnibus Vault: not an Ad

I’m not sure I’m just the last person to this party; but this cataloging tool has been a godsend. Looking at a bargain of a book while you’re out and about and forget if it’s Vol 4 you’re missing or Vol 5?! Big cover thumbnails, wishlist and stats. Cannot suggest it enough. Also, Hi yall! Longtime lurker, now on paternity leave so find myself with more time to indulge hobbies.

After agonising over costs of out of print Epic Collections and Marvel Masterworks, found a cheap alternative to complete my Stan Lee / Gerry Conway Amazing Spider-Man collection, owning #1 - #150: Marvel Pocketbooks! Slightly annoying how they don't line up but at least I own them all now

Found a new hobby while cleaning my grand dads storage

While cleaning I found a small box of Batman Comics mostly 100-200 roughly 20 Books. I was always a Batman Fan and never knew that he was too. Then it started half a year ago and now I can say I have a pretty wall. Some are still laying around and others were in such good condition or just really important that I sent them to cgc like #111, #181, #186, #189 and more. What do you guys think? Thanks!

No marvel and Dc

Can you all suggest some good standalone comic or comic series other than dc and marvel .I am basically looking for crime thriller action genres.

NOT Criminal

Sin city

I have read them already

Shelfie

Spent the last couple weeks removing and adding books, along with trying to come up up with a way to organize . I’ve got a lot more I want to collect ( specifically going to start going after spidey Omnis) and more I’m probably going to be selling but I’m pretty happy with my collection right now and I wanted to show it off. Left intentional gaps to avoid 30+min shelf shifts later on

I built the comic site I always wanted: buy, sell, and catalog in one place

Since I mod here I should say up front: this is my project. It's free, there's nothing to buy, I'm not selling anything.

What I am doing is trying to solve the problem of why there isn't a single place on the internet where someone can take what's on their bookshelf, catalog it (comics, manga, and anime), track what you're hunting for, and buy or sell in a legit marketplace.

I'll admit I'm not always the most organized person, but I want to be! What I am is a collector and a lover of stats who had an idea. I built FindMeComics for anyone else like me, and I'm guessing at least some of you are! It's a website for all the nerds, completionists, aspiring systematic hoarders, and casual fans to be able to easily see what they have and find what they need.

Looking for about 10 people to try it and tell me what's broken.

Fair warning on the state of FMC: Some covers are missing. Some series are in there twice. Volume counts are wrong on manga, etc. The catalog pulls from GCD, Metron, AniList, and Anime News Network, so coverage is decent, but it's rough. That's why I'm asking for your help!

I want to hear from you—to make this site work for the people in this community and beyond, and to help us all collect whatever we're looking for!

The buying and selling side is switched off right now. You can catalog and keep a wantlist, but you can't buy or sell yet. If that's the only bit you care about, wait for launch.

Add stuff, like, please! actually add stuff! 20 items or so, enough that the problems show up. There's a barcode scanner if you don't want to type. Then tell me what's confusing or broken. "Looks good" doesn't help me. I'd rather hear that the search is bad, or that you couldn't find your own books, or about WHATEVER problems you run into. Bring it on!

Couple of other things: it's just me, so a reply might take a day. And I might wipe the data before launch, so don't make it your only record of anything.

Comment or DM and I'll get you set up. Thanks in advance for your help!
