Can someone explain the job filters when you have multiple jobs?

I have tried several times to figure this out but I keep delivering stuff to the wrong places.

I assumed from left to right was job1, job2, job3 so I order the stock for job1 and it delivered it to job2 construction site. I have no idea what 1a, 2a, and 3a are.

Bulldozer is almost useless in this game.

The way they made the earthwork projects with an indestructible bottom has made a bulldozer just a waste of time. The only thing I use mine for is to rip the soil when directed.

I started off using it for each task that required topsoil removal but soon realized that all you are doing is moving the soil around with no gain on the task. It does not even do it cleanly. You often need to go over the same ground multiple times.

The tasks for dirt removal operate on volume...lets say you have a task with 10 truck loads of dirt to remove. You can fit about 5 loader buckets worth of soil in a truck. You can spend an hour pushing the dirt into a big pile in the middle and then use the loader to pick and dump it 50 times from the pile or you can just use the loader initially to pick and dump the 50 buckets right from the start without the dozer...and it does it cleaner and more effectively. The fact that you can just drop the loader bucket on the ground and push forward without any error means that it is just better at the task than the machine that was built to do that job.

Just my little rant, feel free to ignore me.

Did this game help you get better with excavators?

In the company I work we use Cat M318 and 313s and there will be some new positions that need to be filled. I haven‘t ridden an excav often I can drive it and do some basic digging. At home I have got two Farmsticks. Will this game actuallyhelp me get better with excavs and is someone willing to share his Farmstick configs?

Playing Construction Sim again, before the new one comes out, but changing my play style so I don't get bored so easily

I've only recently start placing Construction Sim again, and this time around I'm try to be more methodical with things and dare I say 'more realistic'. Rather than going straight for the biggest pieces of equipment. Also spending more time in cab, and doing things like only only selling dirt loaded into tipper trucks (even if I use the empty feature), if I have to use a dump truck the dirt is tipped on site somewhere.

Can this game teach me about practical things?

Im a fresh graduate quantity surveyor looking to learn more about how things work on site and the construction technology all that stuff. Can this game actually teaches me more about it?

Operating the mobile crane inside the cab wasn't as hard as I thought. But you need to be quite close to the lift site and I wish there was a focus/lean forward option.

What do you think is missing from Construction Simulator?

I wanted to start a discussion with the community about the current experience in Construction Simulator.

For those of you who have been playing for a while: what do you feel is still missing from the game, or what bothers you the most about the simulation?

It can be anything related to gameplay, physics, machinery, construction mechanics, variety of jobs, maps, contracts, progression, realism, AI, multiplayer, or any other aspect of the game.

I’m also curious to know what features you would like to see in a future Construction Simulator. Are there any types of construction projects, equipment, or mechanics that would make the game feel more complete and realistic to you?

The idea is to gather different opinions from people who actually play the game and understand which areas the community would most like to see improved or expanded.

If you could choose only three things to change or add to Construction Simulator, what would they be?

Feeling cheated again... :(

I started building the stadium today. First portion of the site is to build the grandstand on one teams side. I got to the site and looked around and I think I actually started salivating seeing how big the place was...knowing that there would be several more parts to this project.

I was several sub-parts into the project before I noticed that a whole other part of the site was building itself in pace with the steps I was doing. Like, REALLY? WHY?

This is a construction simulating game. I have the settings as high as they will go.

WHY AM I NOT BUILDING THAT?

Anyone who has any experience in construction whether professionally or DIY knows there is like a bug we have...the bug that gives up that hit of dopamine when you complete something, when you succeed, accomplish, slap that bish and say "That ain't going nowhere". I think my biggest gripe with this game is the autocomplete of tasks. You are stealing my enjoyment.

Not for everyone I understand...that is why there are other settings. I chose hard.
