I recently got a refurbished lg g8x thinq its my 4th phone i like it but the OS is a problem i dont like the UI and i want a blazing fast ROM which looks really good which rom to get for lg g8x thinq
Basically - the Telco only enables wifi calling if the phone is in the Telcos home country.
Is it possible to send wifi calling though sim B and wireguard to make it look like the phone is in the home country to use wifi calling?
Or does the Dual SIM Dual Standby nature of the pixel 6 make this setup impossible?

I'm trying to flash TWRP recovery on my Redmi Note 5 (whyred, Snapdragon 636) using Linux, but I've hit a wall with a Fastboot protocol error.
Device & Setup Details:
Phone: Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 / whyred (Qualcomm Snapdragon 636)
Bootloader: Unlocked
Root: NO
OS: Linux
The Issue:
When the phone is in Fastboot mode and connected via USB, running commands like sudo fastboot flash recovery twrp.img or sudo fastboot flash boot twrp.img fails with this exact output:
FAILED (Write to device failed (Protocol error))
The device is detected by fastboot devices, but any attempt to write to partitions fails immediately at the transfer stage with this low-level protocol error. Any advice or workarounds would be greatly appreciated!
Local update also didn't work. It just shows install error. Did i need to do any other way.
Found the way and done it. Through recovery
