Deadly Pattern
OK, I must be missing something. Standard sudoku rules and slow thermos. Can't see any way to disambiguate.
EDIT: Puzzle has now been removed, probably because of this. Thanks for the help everyone. At least I'm not going crazy!

I've been really enjoying CtC's videos and trying some of the puzzles. Is there a good source of puzzles outside of the ones they showcase? Sudokupad itself doesn't really have a list or feed (other than the killer/windowku generated puzzles).
Where does CtC find them? Just sent to them in Patreon/etc?

Hi everyone,
I’m an independent developer and have been playing Sudoku for around 25 years.
I started developing this game for a very personal reason.
I wanted to be able to compete with my son on the same Sudoku puzzles, but I also wanted to teach my 76-year-old mum in India how to play Sudoku remotely — where we could talk while solving a puzzle and she could see the grid being solved in front of her. That made me wonder whether Sudoku could be more than a solo puzzle: One more reason was for some of us it took years to learn advanced techniques or have someone whom we could speak to so why not now use the tools around us to teach younger, older any generation to
Learn. Play. Compete. Together.
I’ve built an early playable version around that idea.
🎮 Play the game
https://v0-sudoku-rss-app.vercel.app
It currently includes:
3×3, 4×4, 6×6 and classic 9×9 grids
Multiple difficulty levels
Daily Challenge
Killer Sudoku
Tournaments
Friends and global rankings
Create Your Own Grid
A tutorial/learning path for beginners and advanced
🧪 What I’m looking for
I’d really appreciate 30–60 minutes of genuine playtesting.
Please don’t feel that you need to be an expert Sudoku player. In fact, I’d particularly like feedback from both experienced players and people who are relatively new to Sudoku.
Suggested playtest
Please:
Open the game without reading any instructions beforehand.
Spend a few minutes exploring the home screen.
Try at least one 9×9 puzzle.
Try one of the smaller grids.
Try a different difficulty.
Explore the Tournament/Friends features.
Look at the Create Your Own Grid option.
Try the tutorial if you’re new to Sudoku.
Continue playing whatever interests you.
After playing, please complete this short feedback form:

What I’d particularly like to know
Was the game immediately understandable?
Did the different grid sizes make sense?
Did you enjoy actually solving the puzzles?
What felt confusing or frustrating?
Would you want to compete with friends/family?
Does the idea of solving Sudoku remotely with another person appeal to you?
What would make you come back tomorrow?
What is the ONE thing you would change?
What is the ONE thing I should absolutely keep?
Please be honest — criticism is much more useful to me than compliments.
This is an early version, so I’m deliberately looking for things that don’t work.
Thank you to anyone willing to spend the time testing it. 🙏
I’m also very happy to answer questions about how/why I built it.
Welcome to this week's Time Expressions challenge. Five variant sudokus, one for each way we talk about time, with the expression built into the shape of the grid.
Choose your level
On desktop these open straight in your browser, nothing to install. On a phone they open in the Logic Wiz app.
One thing sudoku teaches you: you can beat the puzzle, but you can never beat the clock. Take your time anyway. Happy solving!
Don't have the app yet?
The three overlapping ellipses form seven regions. You are given seven tiles and you need to place exactly one tile per region, so that the four tiles in any region obey the corresponding rule. This one is extra tricky! You aren't told what A and B are - but there is only one configuration where the remaining ellipse's members are forced to have product AB. Can you find it?

Fog of War plus regular Killer Cage rules. I feel like I’ve exhausted all my options, I’m not seeing any more info I can use to rule down the options I have. All I know (or at least all that’s actually useful) outside of the pencil marks is that if the red cage is any more than 5 cells it has to use the orange cells shaded.
Don’t want a straight up answer, but some hints about where I should be looking or what sort of logic will get me to the next step would be so helpful!
Hi there,
I uploaded this sudoku to SudokuPad but unfortunately the rules where not included. So I don’t remember the rules to solve it.
The X = sum to 10 of neighbouring cells and V (same for 5 as sum) I am sure about but the circles I don’t get. First I thought its each one number from 1-6, but that doesn’t work. Now I tried with uneven numbers but got stuck here and feel like this also could be the wrong rule.
Anybody knows this one or has another idea?
Here now with the circle logic that the number shows the amount the circle has the number in it:
I am not sure how to continue from here, any tips what I am maybe missing?
Cage in c6 is 27, in c8 is 13 and in c9 is 8.
thanks for the help!
Blocking Scheme
By James Sinclair
Rules:
Normal sudoku rules apply, and all clues are standard.
Cages: the sum of the digits inside each cage is equal to the small number in the top left corner.
Renban lines: purple lines contain a non-repeating set of consecutive digits in any order.
I am struggling here. Not sure where to go next.
Hello, I've been working my way through Sudokuvania 2 and recently encountered two situations in which I'm unsure whether something that was supposed to happen didn't. This is several complete grids in; after the >!Dungeon!< and >!Tunnels!<, having completed the quest to >!rescue the dungeon villagers along the german whispers line!<.
Specifically, there is one "secret" and one main progression interaction that I want to know if I'm missing something I need to figure out, if more progression-related reveals are needed, or if I'm seeing some unexpected behavior (probably least likely).
The main progression issue: >!I have unlocked the Shop and see the instructions to put the coins or the sum of coins in the proper places to purchase things from the Shop. However, I see no indication where those places might be - my assumption is that it is the fogged space below the part that says "Shop" but really it could be anywhere. Or maybe it's not time for that first purchase yet, though that would be odd design imo.!<
The "secret" issue: >!I've found the Gargoyles' Club through the keyhole in the Sewers, but only the single cell on the other side of the keyhole is revealed. I was able to reveal the cell to the right of this by thinking "maybe this is also a sum 10 through the wall" and placing what ended up being the correct digit there but I undid that for now because it might just be a coincidence instead of an intended discovery. I also see that one box below the one I revealed has some flavor text/instructions, but it doesn't give anything to go on. This one I feel is a little more likely I need to progress more to do something with, but I wanted to confirm.!<
Thanks so much! Hints beyond "you're missing something"/"you need to progress more"/" seems like a bug" are welcome but please put them in spoiler tags so I or others can choose to look or not.
