What the hell... why do you make rewards expire? I lost hundreds of dollars

I was getting spammed with nearly 10 emails per day from Crate and Barrel so I basically ignored the emails and now I found out that all of my rewards from an $8k purchase expired? What kind of rewards program is this? I'm going to close my card after this and all the spam

Return Policy

Bought a tea kettle last week from CB. Used it like twice and realized it’s too small. Wanted to exchange it for a larger model today but was told the return is not accepted since it’s “used.” Kind of wild that this is a store’s return policy for a piece of consumer electronics in 2026. I guess I should’ve stuck with Amazon.

Terrible experience all around

Getting registry gifts should be an exciting time, but instead all we’ve gotten is broken stuff that is packed terribly. The boxes are paper thin, the items are not packed in a box inside to secure them from bouncing around, and there’s no fragile stickers on anything.

Customer service is no help, no one seems to be able to fix the issue, and broken stuff keeps showing up. Website request, phone calls, texts, nothing seems to change the outcome.

Which means we have had the pleasure of going to the store and waiting 30-60 minutes for them to repack an order every time.

Also out of nowhere, 50% of our items are now out of stock or unavailable to add to it.

I fully plan on pulling the remaining thousands of dollars of items we have with Crate off of our registry and moving to literally any other company.

Recent delivery experiences?

Hello all, I am considering ordering a chaise lounge (either Axis or Lounge) from C&B. The website says "We will call you by September 21 to schedule delivery" if I order today. I am definitely planning to go to the store to place this order, but I'm curious how accurate that timing has been lately for folks if anyone has a recent experience. I am also considering waiting a few more weeks for Labor Day, but not sure if that will make my delivery take even longer due to increased orders because of sales.

For the kind employees on this reddit, do you get any inside information into delivery when the orders are placed in store? Or have your customers complained of any delays recently? Thank you!
