Peacock
Has anyone else noticed that Peacock seems to be streaming with more commercials more often?

It says my IP address is outside North America. I don’t have a VPN turned on or anything like that. I’m signed in on my phone and my Apple TV. Has anyone else had this issue?
for context im Canadian, I have an Amazon prime subscription and was able to watch love island USA up until yesterday on crave through prime on my Xbox. it’s now no longer available in my region. do I have to get a separate crave subscription or am I just shit out of luck? (Only season 8 and 7 are available not 6-4)
I'm wondering if anyone has experience with using the Crave subscription in Amazon Prime (using the Prime app) over the native Crave app? I find that the Crave app is quite slow and the video quality of watching live shows (especially Last Week Tonight on Sundays) is pretty bad. I have the Paramount subscription on Amazon and the video quality there seems pretty good.
Recently, Prime has moved so many shows to Crave. Seems like every other show in Canada is on Crave. Should I take the subscription or is there any alternative?
Anyone else notice that Crave offers certain films, with the description and poster in English, only to find they're only available in French? Seems like misleading the consumer, potential False Advertising and a violation of the Official Languages Act in Canada.
Please list any titles you have tried to watch and been led astray by their improper labeling.
Compiling a list for formal complaints.
Also if you're a lawyer, let's talk, not a bell reference😆😂
I pay to not watch ads. Screw your subscription. I’d rather pirate. Bye bye.
Feels like watching ads instead of the movie in every episodes.4 ads in the beginning, 4 after intro skip, 4 after pause, 4 after play, 4 in the middle, 4 in the skip.
Shit experience.
Having some ads is no provocation at all. But this is too much.
Thank you for being possibly the worst streaming service! You’ve got me back into sailing the seas and I have found some amazing places so far. Although I will miss the three same commercials every 10 minutes, every time I pause it and when it freezes and crashes. It’s super smart because it absolutely guarantees I’ll never buy those products because I just associate them with being annoying.
Edit: So it is incredibly worse on the Amazon Firestick. I started watching on the PS5 and had less commercials and new commercials each time. Made it more bearable. Wonder if they just hate Amazon because they are a competitor lol.
My tv can run any app all the time with no problems, with Crave it crashes constantly due to an unexpected error. Not to mention crave has a ridiculous amount of ads, stay away from this crap
Subscribed during fifa. Decided to give it a try. Possibly the worst streaming platform out there. I don’t like to watch shows and movies in the middle of my 1000 Volkswagen, Hyundai, bmw commercials.
Edit: It’s not that I expect it to be free of ads when I pay for the “with-ads” plan. The issue is the amount of ads is greater than other platforms and the glitches in between that make you watch more ads after you watch the first series of ads. For example: During a show I saw “1 of 1” ad on the screen and after that commercial was finished, another set of 4 ads came on.
My Crave (I use on my laptop) won't load any videos I click on for a few days now. Is anyone else having this problem? I've tried logging out and in again (doesn't change anything), it just says can't load, refresh screen (which doesn't work).
Before episode begins: 4 ads in a row.
After tv theme: 4 ads in a row.
Have to pause tv, unpause: 4 ads in a row
Not even a 3 minute scene later: 4 ads in a row
The ad free version is tempting me so hard right now but the app works like shit on firestick anyways so it doesn’t even seem worth it.
Does Crave send a message or notification to update your payment information if your card is about to expire or has expired?
I didn't get a chance to watch the season 3 finale on Sunday so now I'm eager to watch it, but when I boot up Crave through our On Demand via Cogeco cable and locate the show, the eighth episode is missing. It's been three days and it's still not there. The seventh episode is missing as well, but I already watched it when it first aired.
Anyone else experiencing this issue, or is there some kind of technical problem on the service's end that I have no control over? I just want to watch the finale and hate having this feeling of being locked out so it's not spoiled for me, and not everyone can stay up late every week when a new episode airs.
I’m trying to watch Love Island UK S11, every time the ads end it takes me back to the beginning of the episode, so I ff to the ads again and Lo and behold back to the beginning, so fucking frustrating. This isn’t the only annoying thing about this app, I just can’t remember everything at the moment. I’m seriously thinking about cancelling all my Bell services, every two months one of the services is increased by 5 bucks.
Not sure if this has been addressed, so here goes:
Every time there’s an ad break, my chosen show or movie starts back at the beginning again instead of continuing where it left off.
I googled the issue and it says it’s a problem on my end but I’ve exhausted everything I know to do.
What I’ve tried so far:
- restarting the app
- signing out of the app and signing back in
- deleting the app and reinstalling
- checked for updates to the app (it was up to date)
- check the software of my tv (for reference I have a Hisense VIDAA and its only a yr old) and everything is up to date for the software
Anyone have any ideas?
Anybody else having this issue? On about half the shows and movies I’ve tried watching in the last week or 2, it doesnt say anywhere that there are ads. No little ads symbol in the corner, no “with ads” thing in the description. Just seems like a normal ad-free option and then when I click play it starts into 3 or 4 ads? Really absurd.
