How to get a butterfly knife without spending shit ton of money?
Hey, I'm a Cs 2 player with around 20 bucks in my bank account, and I was dreaming about getting a butterfly knife even since I've started palying back in 2020.
As you understand, I have a very limited balance to spend and absolutely no idea on how to make my dream come true.

If I buy 5 mp7 bloodsport on a website (not official steam market) , will I be able to do the trade up contract directly or it's gonna be locked/blocked for a time ?

Herobrine in cs2???
Just a moment ago, I played a Casual match on Train where a CT model appeared on A site during a random round. Any TTs who tried to kill it got a competitive cooldown for “team damage”(even though it was an enemy team model), while the CTs could shoot it without it dying or whatever.
Interestingly, when spectating, this CT model didn’t have any player number on the radar. I’ve never seen anything like this before, and if anyone knows what could it be, please let me know.

CS2 keeps crashing to desktop when loading into the main menu (AMD RX 580, Windows 10)
Hey everyone,
I'm having an issue with CS2 where the game launches normally, but crashes to desktop when it reaches the main menu, usually shortly after the menu appears.
My specs:
- GPU: AMD Radeon RX 580 4GB
- OS: Windows 10
- Steam installed on
D:\steam - Renderer: DirectX 11
The crash generates an accessviolation minidump. I've checked multiple crash dumps, and they all show similar loaded modules, including atidxx64.dll, amd_ags_x64.dll, and rendersystemdx11.dll. Steam Overlay is also loaded.
Things I've tried so far:
- Updated/repaired the Steam client
- Cleared the CS2 shader cache
- Tried resetting the AMD shader cache
- Looked into
cs2_machine_convars.vcfg - Investigated whether Steam Overlay or the AMD driver could be responsible
Unfortunately, the game still crashes when entering the main menu.
Has anyone experienced the same issue, especially on an RX 580? Is there a known fix, or a way to identify the actual cause from the minidump?
I can provide the crash dumps if needed.
Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Aim in Practice vs Competitive

I've just got into CS2 properly recently and I've been practicing on some aim maps and Death Match against bots. What I've noticed is my aim and reaction is good, then I play Competitive and absolutely fumble majority of the time.
Can I have some tips and pointers on to fix this, please and thank you.

I made an iOS app for following CS2 matches from your lock screen (feedback wanted)
Hey everyone, I've spent the last 6 months building Retake, an iOS app for following CS2 without needing to watch or dig through stats.
I made it because I just want to know "is my team winning?" while I'm at work, driving, or out an about. The existing apps are great if you want kill feeds and full stats, but I wanted something simpler and a nicer-looking, native iOS-style UI that feels like it belongs on your phone.
What it does:
- Live Activities
- Native iOS styling
- Team following
- Clean tournament, team, and match pages. No more info than you want at a glance, sub pages contain more but you don’t get overwhelmed at just opening the app
What it doesn’t do:
- No super deep stats, it’s supposed to be simple and easy to follow, simple stats about teams and games are available
- Data updates ~0-30 seconds slower than HLTV does, this is not built for the guy who sits around refreshes HLTV every minute to see what’s changed
- I’ll probably launch with top teams only, but the beta currently includes all teams

I realize HLTV just introduce live activities but this has been my passion project for the past 6 months (it’s all hand written no AI slop anywhere) and I’m still planning on releasing because tbh I prefer my UI and I think that it’s for a slightly different use case than HLTV is for.
